    Wikipedia users deleted the List of Games w/Gold page recently

    I liked the page bc sometimes the dates on current games were hard to remember when away from the XBOX and just wanting to reference the info.

    I also liked how you could see what was previously released, therefore telling you to not expect something listed before to be GwG again. It also provided trend info on what might be a future GwG (for example, I have a feeling Rise of the Tomb Raider might come based off other listings.)

    Finally, I also liked knowing what GwG replacements were in other countries.

    The deletion happened bc Epic's free games or whatever comparable list was deleted recently, and some ppl decided to connect the 2. Ironically, the comparable Playstation list remains, making me think part of the reason for the GwG deletion was ppl playing that lame console wars BS.

    [Question] Not sure if right sub. Got a new monitor and hooked my XboxOne, Xbox says it is 4k capable but the box doesn't. LG Ultragear 27". Is it really 4k?

    External hard drive always on

    Even when my Xbox is set to energy saving mode the external hard drive is making noise and the light is blinking. Is there a way to power it down with the Xbox other than unplugging it every time I shut it off?

    Xbox hidden SSID wireless display disable

    My university is having an issue with the broadcasting of the hidden SSID for the miracast app. It is interfering with our enterprise wireless solution that is set in place. Is there any way to disable the broadcasting of this SSID? I have reached out to XBOX support and haven't had any luck with this issue.

    Is there any reason to join Xbox Live if I'm 99% single-player?

    I don't pay the monthly subscription fee for Xbox Live, and my library of physical discs between my Xbox One and Wii/U will last me for the next two years with a few new games sprinkled in. I realize I can't have Game Pass otherwise, but it just doesn't make much sense for me given how little time I set aside for video games these days. I am going to play the Dark Souls Trilogy, Monster Hunter World (maybe), and Forza Horizon 4 soon. I've read and seen that these games have online capabilities. Will I be missing much if I just play them single-player? I have 0 friends IRL who play on Xbox, and I don't have the time to invest in playing any multiplayer on a regular basis like Destiny or Sea of Thieves—hence, just single-player for me and some couch co-op with the gf.
