    Is there any reason to get an HDD ready iso vs a full ISO? (OG Xbox)

    For example, I have Halo 2 and the Map Pack on disc. But I want to install them on my hard drive that I recently installed to my original Xbox.

    Online, I've seen implications that some games simply will not work without them being patched or ripped apart in one way or another due to DRM or XBL checks.

    In other places, I've seen people saying that HDD ready just cleans out all the data for those things to make the file smaller.

    So what is the actual truth here? Can I simply install a full ISO without issue or do I need to edit them/download an HDD ready version?

    Are there compatibility lists out there that I couldn't find?

    As a bonus question, what about DLC like Yavin for KoToR? How would I even get that on there working?

    Playing games on the same Xbox but on different accounts

    So I got my dads old Xbox which has his account on it and a bunch of games under his account. I bought an Xbox live gold account in a different account. I went into games and apps and clicked on a game and it said, "sign in with the account that purchased the game or installed the app, or, if the game has a trial version that has expired, purchase the game from the Microsoft store." Is there anyway I can fix this so I can play games that were downloaded from a different account.

    Xbox or PS?

    I love Xbox because of their featuring media center (not just for gaming). I know Xbox keeps on their promise when it comes to exclusives but being on 2020 and in comparison with Playstation, I'll definitely like some changes when it comes to Xbox. What do you guys suggest- Xbox or PS?

    Want to mention: I'm a God of War fan from PS! Never played HALO though!

    Can’t play offline

    So I'm on an exercise and everyday I bring my Xbox and hook it up to a tv in a tent I'm staying in. The problem is, I can't play any games cause they all say I need to be online. I have set my Xbox to my home Xbox and I also always make sure to set it to offline mode before I leave. I tried it again today and it wouldn't even let me play Vampyr or Witcher without connecting to my hotspot which is basically non existent. What am I doing wrong here and how can I fix it?

    Xbox Gold and Game Pass Ultimate

    I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit to be posting this.

    Back in december Last year I bought 2 months of Game Pass Ultimate for $2, that subscription has since then expired. When looking at my memberships, it says that my Xbox Gold was converted to Game Pass Ultimate. I can renew my gold membership without renewing Game pass?

    My Xbox 360 4gb isn’t detecting the 500gb hardrive that i bought for it

    So i bought a 500gb hardrive for my 4gb 360 today but when i put it in and switch my console on the hardrive doesn't show up in my storage devices, is the hardrive bad? Should i buy another one?

    Help - Watch dogs Xbox 360 disc in Russian. Its an original disk. English isnt a language option. How do I turn it into english?

    I have had the disc for ages and never bothered to play it. I've run out of games to play so I really want try it out. It's got 2 disks. The download disk downloads a bunch of content. 2 files it downloads are Russian. I've deleted them but the game is still playing in Russian. Please help me out here.

    Random Xbox Live disconnections for no clear reason?

    Been kicking about on YouTube, then randomly, I'm disconnected from Xbox Live (still signed in to my acc, just no internet access), so I go to check the network settings on the Xbox...and it tells me "everything is good"...

    Why? What's the point? There was obviously no reason to disconnect me, just to tell me the connection is fine...

    Anyone else having a similar issue?

    So I started playing Xbox when I was like 12 and when I got Xbox live it was signed onto my dads email. Can we change that to we're I can completely disconnect my Xbox account from his email without losing my gamer tag gamer score and all my save data! I just want to completely disassociate my account from his email and make my Xbox account completely mine so that way if he changes the password or something I don't have to go ask him. As well as I believe that's his work email and I'd hate for him to lose all that stuff.

    Batman The Telltale Series Sucks

    Or more specifically the game sucks, the story is so far entertaining. But I'm experiencing visual glitches , the story doesn't save some of the choices I make as I progress . Anyone else have similar experiences?

    "microsoft store package dependency installer"

    hi.

    i have xbox gamepass for pc and i can't play ONE game on it. my fave.

    i have played it but yesterday whenever i opened xbox (beta) app i didn't see that it had logged me out. i opened dbd and it said "microsoft store package dependency installer" then i noticed that i wasn't logged in, so i assumed if i logged in i wouldn't get this error.

    so i log in,but i still can't open the app. i really don't want to reinstall but if that's literally the only thing i can do, then i'll need to do it i guess.

    this doesn't happen on any other gamepass game. how do u fix?

    (also i'm not a complete dumbass. i've solved problems on my computer that anyone on r/techsupport couldn't fix)

    Should I upgrade to a Xbox one X or wait?

    I have an original Xbox one and I'm thinking about upgrading to a Xbox One X (for the right price), but I'm not sure if I should wait for the Xbox Series X. I love Playstation exclusives, so if Sony announces some good exclusives for the PS5, then I'll prbably get that before the Series X if I'm not able to get both (which is probably likely), considering Xbox exclusives will be on both generations for the first couple years. Thoughts?
