    Ever since I first saw Bill Gates give away the bunch of Microsoft goods 4 years ago, I was inspired to have a giveaway every year in his name. It's even more so knowing that he just gave away his 95th giveaway. I also want to give back to this community since Xbox has been my passion since 2008.

    First, a little bit about me. I'm 29 years old, just married a little over a year ago. I got a puppy 2 years ago, and a house last year. I have had a very busy past few years. I feel very blessed that I came into a job that can utilize my talents, and also pay me well for them. I'm glad that I had Microsoft give me the opportunity to make lifelong friends on Xbox Live whom I talk to multiple times a week. If it wasn't for Xbox Live, I wouldn't of had to opportunity to meet my friends in person. This past September, I made that dream become a reality.

    It's this year that I'm proud to announce that I am giving away two free standard edition video games of your choice.

    The rules are like previous years.

    Middle-aged dad whose young 7 year old son just got an Xbox One. What are some things I should be doing right away?

    Merry Christmas everyone! So I got an Xbox One S for Christmas thanks to the fam, and it came bundled with a code for NBA2K19. I'm not really a fan of sports games, and I saw earlier someone posted a similar giveaway and a bunch of people wanted it. So, here's another chance at snabbing the code for 2K19 if you couldn't earlier! All you have to do to get the code, is guess my favorite horror movie :p

    New gamertag system question. Why can’t it be 15 characters like before? My gamertag adds up to more than 12 characters. 13 to be exact. Seems odd because I can have the 12 characters, and then 4 random numbers following a “#”, but I can’t just have 13 characters.

    Bandwidth usage not tracking properly. I have 2 boxes and both doing this same. One is on the insiders and other is brand new.

    I have FNV but whenever I put in the disc it just shows up as "we can't run this" and all I can do is try to change the disc as I have game of the year edition. But nothing I can think of is working.

    I don't have internet ATM so I decided to play it as it's the only game I have that's 1: a disc and 2: backwards compatible

    Is there a fix to this?

    We got my son his own Xbox one s for Christmas. He was using my Xbox one x before that. He played Terraria and Minecraft. Is there anyway to transfer the save data from my account to his new account? He really wants to save his Terraria world's.

    Headset cutting out on new xbox remote?

    So, I had a headset that I thought was kinda busted with the audio and stuff and it was annoying and I noticed that sometimes I would hear a lot of static then my controller would seemingly disconnect from the xbox and start blinking until I unplugged the headset let it connect then plug it back in. Well this continued for a while then I got sick of it and stopped using that headset.

    Well, today being Christmas I unwrapped a brand spanking new headset. I plug it in start playing. Its perfect. Bass is a lil off but nothing I cant live with. I like it. 10 minutes later... Static. I watch the controller and lo and behold it disconnects blinks but this time reconnects without me doing anything and the audio comes back bit then static again and repeat.

    At this point im convinced its my remote. Its a xbox one S controller probably like two months old cause I had to replace my old one and have made sure it has not dropped with the exception of like one or twice on a carpeted floor from no higher than like 2 feet. I do my best to take care of my remote and even my old one after years of use never had this problem before and all of a sudden I have it now and I don't know what to do as I cannot afford a new one since especially since this one is new and was wondering if anyone knew someway to troubleshoot or overall fix the problem and know what's causing it above all.
