question about play everywhere keys Posted: 03 Mar 2022 01:32 AM PST Hello, From the xbox 360 that I no longer have a console, I only play on PC, but I would like to know if I can play games on PC by buying game keys with play everywhere. I imagine that with physical editions it is not worth it, right? I have ever had gamepass on PC, but there are games that are not there, or that I want to have mine. Thanks [link] [comments]

Xbox One keeps turning TV on and off. Posted: 02 Mar 2022 10:37 PM PST The title is self explanatory. We have an old Samsung flat screen TV (2010 model I believe, not sure though). We've hardly had issues with it but this issue has never happened. We currently have an IPTV set-top box, a PS3, a DVD player, the TV, a Wii, TV headphones and a Samsung bar speaker plugged into the same power board. I initially plugged the Xbox One into the power board, but plugged it directly into the wall socket after it turned the TV on and off a few times. It started out with the TV turning off for a few seconds than turning back on. The TV makes a clicking sound whenever it's turned on or off. However, the problem has progressed and it's getting worse now. It will turn off, make the clicking noise repeatedly like someone is turning it on and off then after 10-30 seconds, it will turn back on. Another minute and it will usually repeat this process then the TV is fine. I use the Xbox regularly (maybe two hours in total on weekdays and definitely 4 to 6 hours on weekends). It's only started happening now that I've set up the Xbox. The usage shouldn't be a problem though, I was regularly playing 6+ hours a day on the PS3 everyday during the summer holidays (I live in the Southern Hemisphere) which were 6 weeks. It will usually do this turning on and off thing like once everyday but it hardly does it for me. Is it the Xbox interfering with the TV? Is it too much stuff plugged into the TV? Is it the TV getting old? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edit: I've googled the problem but nothing comes up. The only other article/post that I found which is close to my problem is another reddit post but there's virtually nothing helpful in the comments. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Mar 2022 01:15 AM PST So I managed to place an order for a Series X yesterday as they are in stock on the UK Microsoft website, there was an error message when I hit 'purchase' but the website refreshed and at the same time I got a notification from Klarna of the purchase and an order confirmation email from Microsoft with my order number etc. The estimated delivery date is for the 4th of March (tomorrow) but when I click the track/manage order button in the email is shows the order is in the 'pending' stage. - I've never ordered with Microsoft before so I didn't know if this is what usually happens, I'd have just assumed that if the delivery date was estimated for tomorrow it would be further along by now? Didn't know if anyone else has bought through Microsoft on here and had any experience? I was worried about the error message when I hit the purchase button as it looked as if the order had failed… but given that I received the confirmation email and the order shows up in my Microsoft account I would assume it went through? I also checked with Klarna support and they've received details of the order as well. Im aware it probably seems like a trivial issue, I'm just paranoid given how difficult the Series X is to get at the moment so thought I'd get some advice! [link] [comments]

Can I get help creating and setting up new accounts for online gaming? Posted: 02 Mar 2022 11:40 PM PST It has been about a decade since I've had to create an account and set it up. I am trying to create new accounts for my nieces and nephew who are all minors and set them up to play online. They all have phones and the latest xbox controllers, so they will be playing on xCloud. Can someone please list the steps I need to take, and perhaps things I should know about making their accounts? Such as, will they be able to play all games online and get new games while being under US legal age? Maybe there are adjustments I should make, like to their age so they dont get limited to games or game features? [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Mar 2022 10:08 PM PST So I'm trying to let my a friend play subnautica on his pc. I currently own subnautica on xbox and it is a play anywhere title. Anyways I made a family group where account A (account with subnautica) is like the parent and added account B ( my friend) as a member of this family group. I added account A to his PC so he can firstly install the game, then we switched to account B so all his progress would save on his account. The problem is the game only appears as a preview, meaning after a couple of hours he won't be able to access the game from his account. Any help would be greatly appreciated:) [link] [comments]
