Controller problems: GameStop or Microsoft? Posted: 14 Feb 2022 09:37 PM PST I have both PS4 AND Xbox one X/S (one for my spouse and I respectively) and we've noticed that were occasionally getting what feels like 're furbs' from EB Games Canada (Gamestop) on occasion when it's time to replace controllers and we buy new. We recently got the Xbox Anniversary controllers and had a hell of a time returning them due to buttons cheeky bring very squishy and unresponsive in game. Two of them! Alright one was worse than the other This had been tested with PS4 controllers, though I prefer Microsoft to Xbox. Is this a retailer problem? Or quality control? Serious xbox issues Posted: 15 Feb 2022 01:02 AM PST I don't know if it's my account or my Xbox itself but this is both happening on my S and my series s. After playing fallout 76 and having it promptly crash on me 5 times in a row (insert Bethesda joke here.) my Xbox has been acting up badly. Downloads won't download, games won't open, xbox turns off randomly, my controller won't connect etc. I am currently testing my S to see if it has the same issues so far it sorta has. I know on the original Xbox one it didn't get used much but that wasn't because we didn't want it. It was because it just didn't run well. It will kill your friends. Over and over again.... But that's why it's fun. It's punishing, but hilarious. Also cross-platform play (change input delay in settings to 1 if everyone has a good connection... 3 seems way too much) (also cross-platform progress sync) It's basically an extremely responsive Mario game. It's also super in depth for unlocks and endings. You will die a billion times, but you learn a little more each run. Soo much fun with friends. Play. Die. Repeat. Xbox controller issues Posted: 14 Feb 2022 10:41 PM PST My new Xbox controller, for the Xbox one, will only turn on for a second, then turn off. When I press the Xbox button on my controller while my Xbox is off, it'll turn the Xbox on, but then the controller immediately turns off. When I hold the Xbox button on my controller, it'll blink, but ONLY when I'm holding it down. I've plugged it in, changed batteries, and it's all the same. Xbox series x taking forever to turn off Posted: 14 Feb 2022 10:20 PM PST For the last two days my Xbox series x has been taking forever to turn off. It just blinks for like 5-10 minutes after I turn it off. I have read that this is because it's updating, but I have made sure there are no updates, and I make sure to close all games and apps before turning off.
