    For now you can only appear either online or offline for everybody in your friendlist but i have a kinda large friendlist due to playing a lot of different games last decade, so it can be a bit annoying to jump online when different people inviting you to different games/partys. Every single guy in my friendlist is there for a reason and i really like them all but sometimes i wish i could be shown as online for my favorites only (mostly real life friends).

    How do you guys think about this topic? I can't be the only one who have ever thought about this right? Let me know! ✌🏼

    Fun games for non-gamer GF

    Hey I'm looking for some advice. My GF is new to games but is keen for some new games to play with me.

    Tldr below

    Her experience: Skyrim: - Almost all major quest lines. - She loved the exploration and minimal mechanics.

    COD Zombies: - BO3, BOCW - Liked the gameplay loop and constant action

    Minecraft: - Played since childhood - Again she loves exploring and gameplay loop of getting stacks of diamonds

    So I'm looking for a cooperative open world style game with fairly minimal mechanics while still having a fun gameplay/combat loop. Story isn't a huge deal as she just wants to have fun (not read walls of dialogue)

    Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated (On GamePass or not). I've been looking through gamepass and don't know any games that tick all the right boxes.

    Tldr: Looking for cooperative open world game with simple mechanics and some action

    Just completed 10x runs on Hades and was blown away. If you haven't played it yet, what are you waiting for?

    Like seriously. It looked decent and won awards, but holy hell I was not expecting such a phenomenal game.

    The first couple of runs dying to the first boss and having to repeat almost put me off. Don't let it, its seriously worth it.

    Everything about this game is a masterpiece the smooth gameplay to the absolute ear orgasm of the sound track.

    Please if you do have gamepass. Try Hades and stick it out, you will be surprised like me and in awe when it comes to a close.

    Intro

    • Show starts with new trailer featuring Spartan Candidates

    • New things to explore, teams working hard towards launch on Dec 8

    • This test is to push the infrastructure, they want as many people at the same time as possible

    • Flights have provided valuable feedback

    • When it's ready it will be ready (this flight), there may be a small shift in schedule, they are aiming for tomorrow. In "holding pattern" due to some late breaking issues.

    • Big team battle will be second weekend of flight

    Bots

    • Intent of bots is to ease new players into multiplayer

    • Over 65 million bots were slayed during first preview

    • Bot teams will now be mixed skill level

    • Bot difficulty fully customizable in Training Mode

    • 'Preview one' gave a lot of good feedback that was used to improve bots

    • Bots will have new behaviors and moves

    Academy

    • Flyover of BTB multiplayer map "Fragmentation" is shown

    • Academy is intended to "give players a safe place to learn how to halo"

    • Three pillars of the academy - Tutorial, Weapon Drills (will all projectile weapons, changes have been made), Training Mode

    • Shock Rifle shown - medium to long range. weapon arcs to near enemies if grouped, can also arc off environmental objects

    • Leaderboards are likely on the road map for weapon drills, but won't be live at launch

    • Training mode demoed on map "Behemoth" which is a 4v4 arena map that includes vehicles

    • Training mode is fully customizable and will be available 24/7 for duration of the flight

    • Quick tips have been updated to give better descriptions of alt fire modes

    • Some maps may be released in a staggered manner

    Big Team Battle

    • 12 v 12 full combat maps with vehicles that are true Halo's best moments

    • CTF Match shown on map "Fragmentation" PC preview build

    • Multiple game modes; Slayer, CTF, and Zone Control which features battle over control of three check points. A point is scored when one team controls all three zones

    • Loot cave "hackable" (time sink) sub-objective contains upgrades and ammo, Respawns with time

    • Additional charges granted for grapple (and more?) in BTB

    Wrap-Up

    • First weekend focused on arena, second weekend BTB

    • Focus on concurrent players, more invites possible before BTB weekends. Specifically for xbox insiders

    • Last second hiccups, possible change in schedule. Watch Halo waypoint and halo on twitter

    • Possible 'invite a friend' for PC players via additional steam keys

    • Feedback matters and helps.

    I've been receiving this for two days on my Xbox One after getting randomly signed out.

    Works:

    Xbox Live

    Hulu

    Disney+

    HBOMax

    Brand new Google email made specifically to sign into YouTube app

    Original YouTube profile on other hardware

    Doesn't Work:

    Original YouTube profile even though brand new one does work

    Resetting app

    Force closing app

    Uninstall/reinstall app

    Revoking app access

    Restarting console

    Unplugging console

    I refuse to go through the bull crap of a factory reset that will be useless anyway.

    Problem is not my internet, based on new profile working.

    Is there something other than a factory reset that will make this garbage app let me log into my original profile again?

    Xbox one seagate 2tb

    I really could do with some help...... I have the original xbox one and i have a 2 tb seagate(green) external hard drive. Suddenly it seems all my games and apps have dissapeared and nothing is showing anymore, so it looks empty BUT.... it says my hard drive is 100% full What has happened? Last night i was still playing on it.... Today its all gone Maybe this has happened to somebody else, can you help?

    External audio into headset

    So I have the Astro A40 with the pro amp which comes with an aux cord. I was wondering if there was a way if when I play audio connected to the cord, it would play through my mic and into the party. Thanks

    I miss the chat pad

    I have a Microsoft chat pad. I love it. My son has been looking for a chat pad and I won't let him use mine because you can't get them anymore. I have been looking for a replacement but all seem to use a dongle to connect to the Xbox. We purchased the Best Buy brand one and it didn't work right at all.

    Anyone have a suggestion for a chat pad that works like the Microsoft one.

    I have an Xbox One with Kinect that I got when they were first released all those years ago. It's been in good condition and has never gave me any problems. It kinda just sits now and I do not have interest in video games as I once did. How much could I sell it for if I were to post it on Facebook or Craigslist? What's a good listing price? The controller isn't the original and might have a very tiny bit of stick drift.

    Japanese cover art for red dead redemption but using American account

    So essentially I purchased red dead redemption on my pc a couple days ago because I plan on buying an Xbox one x soon so I checked my library on the Xbox app and the cover art is a Japanese image even tho I live in America and wasn't connected to a vpn when purchasing

    Internet is connected but not connected apparently

    So a hurricane hit me recently but now that everything is back up I can't get onto online. I have WiFi and it's connected back to my Xbox but it reads that I have a connection it then for games and anything else tells me a don't. To further explain the network text says I'm connected by not the Xbox it self and I don't think it's an service outage there's none reported.

    Using xbox with monitor

    Hey. I have a Xbox Series X and a Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor, I love the setup but I can't decide if I should use PC RGB or Standard color space. I know my monitor is locked to full RGB (0-255) but arter plenty of research, I cant figure out if the PC RGB setting on the xbox works as it should. When I have it on standard, I can see the closed and open eye in the calibration menu, but I cant make the closed eye dissapair whatever I do. When I use PC RGB, I can see the open eye, but not the closed eye or the sun, no matter how high my brightness/contrast is. So I have been going back and fourth, and I Just cant decide. My monitor is a 1440p monitor, which locks to normal black level when using it on 1440p. So my question is, what should I use on my xbox. Should I use standard even though the colors are a bit washed out and I cant make the closed eye dissapair, or should I use it on PC RGB which I cant see the closed eye or the sun, but colors seems to look a bit better. Am I getting crushed blacks on PC RGB? And does PC RGB even work as it should, and should the closed eye be gone when using this setting?
