    When posting a question, please include the following information

    Ethernet Connection

    So I know you can connect your pc to your xbox via ethernet cable to improve connection but does this work in the reverse way? Use the xbox to share connection my pc?

    Payment and billing settings issue

    Am I the only one that is having issues with the payment and billing settings? It just won't load, there is a blank screen and a spinning wheel followed by crashing or an error message. Is this happening to anyone else?

    How about a way to filter dlc from games in the Xbox store? I am constantly inundated with dozens of dlc for games I don't even own.

    FIX for Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller Tilted/Uneven Dpad

    Backstory: I bought an elite controller series 2 when it first came out, everything was fine but the A button was a bit mushy. I ended up buying another from amazon in Jan 2021 but the dpad was uneven, the left side has no travel time while the right side has significant travel time before it actuates, you can even see that the dpad is not flush with the face of the controller (my original series 2 dpad has equal travel time in all directions). I returned it, bought another one, same issue, returned it. Bought one from microsoft, same issue, sent it in to get repaired, nothing was fixed, returned it, I gave up. Now that the controllers are on sale I tried my luck again with best buy, same issue. I've seen some forums of people having the exact issue but no fixes. I said screw this, I'm gonna take it apart and fix it myself, and I did.

    FIX:

    *This probably voids the warranty but idk, be careful.

    1. Remove the controller faceplate. You'll need an ifixit kit or something similar. This took me a while, be patient and careful. Follow any teardown guide on youtube, this one helped me the most

    1. Carefully remove the thin metal retaining ring on the dpad (see 10:38 in the video) THIS RING IS THE PROBLEM

    * You only need to remove the faceplate to access this ring, no screws or anything else.

    1. You will see that there are 4 tabs connected to the ring holding each of the dpad directions in place. GENTLY and SLIGHTLY bend the spot where the right tab connects to the ring to give the right side more resistance. Put the ring back on and pop on the dpad attachment and test to make sure all sides have equal travel time. This may take a couple tries to get it perfect so make sure you're happy with it before putting the faceplate back on.

    2. Put the faceplate back on (obviously...)

    upgrade to series s?

    So I currently have the rare xbox one s all digital edition, and I'm getting quite sick of 30fps gaming. So I've been thinking about upgrading to the series s or the ps5. I don't have a 4k tv (in fact I currently use a 900p dell monitor lmao) I was wondering if I should upgrade to the series s now and benefit from already having games to play on it or save up some more and purchase the ps5?
