Xbox live connection issues (any help would be appreciated) Posted: 16 Sep 2021 04:38 PM PDT I've had this issue for a couple years now with my 360. I sign in to xbl and after a few minutes I get disconnected. When I test my connection everything goes fine. When this started I had a Xbox one that I used for 360 games and that worked fine but I never knew why this was happening. I've tried using a wired connection but the same thing happens. My internet is fine everything else works no problem. I don't know if something is wrong with my console or what. [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Sep 2021 04:12 PM PDT It's been a while and I don't want to go through the hassle in vain. If I open a game I saved to my internal HDD can I start the game then save to a USB? Then can I care that USB and load that file in a different 360 (and different profile)? [link] [comments]

Help Xbox 360 E not powering on! It's not the power supply. Posted: 16 Sep 2021 02:35 PM PDT Okay so back in January I noticed my xbox 360 would not turn on. Purchased a 3rd party power supply and it worked! It is now september and I tried turning on the xbox but nothing. I thought maybe it was the power supply and so I ordered another but still nothing. The xbox has never been dropped and has pretty much stayed in the same spot since january. I read somewhere that it may possibly be the rf module? Not sure if it would be that as the on button works fine I hear a click when I click it. Have tried using a controller to turn on the xbox but nothing. Would it be worth replacing the rf module or do you think possibly the motherboard is dead? [link] [comments]

My 360 can’t connect to Xbox live Posted: 16 Sep 2021 11:37 AM PDT So about a week ago I got AT&T fiber internet and so I don't know that much about it so this may be a very stupid question, before I had AT&T fiber I could get on Xbox live on my Xbox 360 but now I can't so I was wondering if it's because of the new internet or what? Cannot Download profile to new Xbox 360 Posted: 16 Sep 2021 11:07 AM PDT I cannot download a profile that is a "child" account of my main one. When I click "Download profile" from the sign in page and put in the confirmed correct username and password, I can select from four profiles associated with my microsoft account. The main account downloads fine, but when I download one of the child accounts it begins to download and then always stops with this error: "Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to account.live.com to fix the problem. 80151014." The second one never begins downloading, and gives an error with the same text but a different code: "80150016" When I sign in online to see these two accounts on my Microsoft family page, I see two email address with @ xboxlivefamily com domains. There is no other info (no profile pic, nothing), so I am unsure if they represent these two child accounts or not. Either way, I did not create them manually. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Sep 2021 02:39 PM PDT Going to RGH my console, but picked up a few test mules. I'm fine with my soldering but just wanted one to poke around with. One powers up with the light turning green, but RDoD's before anything shows up on the screen. This one I'm currently into just beeps when you press the power or eject button. No power lights, no noises, etc. I have it down to the board currently. Tried a different RF board and power supply. No dice. All the R3-R8 resistors ohm out at 0, board looks very clean. I'm stumped. I have a perfectly good board to pull components from. It was a perfect working console until my Xclamp took slipped and destroyed quite a few traces. Any suggestions on what to look for on this one? It's a 'Rona board. [link] [comments]
Installing games to the Internal vs External hard drive. Which is better? Posted: 16 Sep 2021 02:12 PM PDT So I have been playing Skyrim on my Xbox 360 recently and as you know the loading screens can be quite long. To try and reduce these load screen times I have installed the game to an external hard drive. What I was wondering is if I could reduce load time by moving the game to the internal hard drive instead or if there was any other way to reduce load times. Idk if this matters but I have one of the older pre-slim Xbox 360 model where the "internal" hard drive is mounted on top if the console. My external drive is connected via usb to the back of the console. EDIT: Would I run into any issues trying to transfer Skyrim, its DLCs, and my save file to the Internal drive if I decided to transfer them? I wouldn't want to accidentally corrupt my save fioe or anything. [link] [comments]
