    Sorry, if this has been answered already, on this sub, but I seem to be getting conflicting or unclear information online. I want to know whether or not my NTSC XBOX 360 can play PAL original XBOX games or not? (NOT PAL XBOX 360)

    In other words, does region locking apply to backwards compatibility or not?

    Modding Xbox for backwards compatibility

    I was wondering if modding my 360 would fix any of the issues that the 360 has when playing BC games. I know you can mod one to play games not previously compatable but will it fix any of the bugs or just expand the library?

    Does this funky blue in the background mean its about to die?

    Does this blue artifacting mean my ol 2007 white fat 360 is on its way out? It actually E74/3 Red Ringed on me back in 2013 while playing BF4 but I thought I'd pull it out 8 years later and mess with it. Still had rings and E74 message but kept it turned on did a couple resets and all of a sudden it actually worked.

    But now I see these weird blue artifacts in the background popping in and out...can see it on darker areas more.

    Is it time to finally lay the old 360 to rest?

    Installing from scratched disk question

    If a 360 game is scratched so that it stops working at some random point in the game, will installing the game to my HD fix the issue? Or is the install just a straight copy of the disk that will have the same problem?

    I got a used game from ebay, and it arrived with a somewhat deep scratch near the center. While the game starts and the story's first 10 min gave me no issues, I'm concerned that it will just stop working at some point in the story (since it's happened to me before). I don't know anyone who has the game and nowhere carries it used (rental shops, Gamestop, etc), so installing from another disk isn't an option.

    If I can avoid the ebay refund process and costing the seller for something that may have happened during shipping, I'd like to do that. Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Can't access storage device

    Hello everyone. I was wondering if someone could help me with my current situation. My problem is dvd drive doesn't work at all and I would love to clear the cache data on my old 360, is there any way I can get my Xbox to stop saying "opening tray" sothat I can access my storage, my games etc?

    As said in the title, I want to make the xbox 360 smaller. By that I mean taking the insides that are nessecary, putting it into a custom case, so I can carry it around. Also I want to make it so I can use it with my laptop to play Lego Dimensions, without occupying the TV
