    Upgrade from Xbox one X to Series S?

    I'm looking at moving to series consoles as I've switched to pc for majority of my stuff now and my x...... Well it runs slow compared to series/pc so my question is, would a series S be a good choice? I haven't had the X more than 6m as got from a friend so spent 3yrs+ on one s so 4k stuff not massive for me. Also I know the storage isn't as much but I have a 2tb external HDD I use. I can readily get a series S for retail or less but X is still way overpriced on eBay and not even new half of them. I want speed and ability to play new games such as flight sim 2020, new forzas as my pc isn't top spec more just mid range so again 4k content isn't on the priority list.

    Achievements not registering

    I have an issue discovered today that achievements are not unlocking for me. I don't know if this is a problem at my end or microsoft's. I have only tested this with game pass games.

    Since when is a gold subscription required for multiplayer games? I went to load Dead by Daylight and some of my other multiplayer games and they all say I need a gold subscription to play. I've been playing these game for three years now and have not once needed a gold subscription. What happened?

    (Series X) Power on button seems a bit loose, and buzzing sound when turning it on and off

    I got my Series X a week ago (my first Xbox since the 360 in 2009) and one of the first things I noticed was that the power on button seems to be a bit loose and it wiggles a little, I can move it around a bit with relatively low effort and the upper part seems to go a bit farther than the rest when pushing it, I don't know if this is normal but it was weird for me coming from PS4.

    I also noticed a small "buzzing" sound when turning the console on and off (like "bzzzt" like a HDD starting up) I just noticed that yesterday after moving it to another place, maybe it has been like that since the beginning, I don't remember.

    The console itself works fine, I don't know if these are real issues or if I'm just worrying too much and it's perfectly normal to experience both.

    I still see people struggling which i did for months and months before taking my hunt seriously. So what i did to get mine was follow Twitter trackers and turned all my phones notifications off except Twitter. Left browsers open for Walmart, GameStop, and Best Buy. Doing that it only took me about 2.5 weeks. Probably woulda been faster but I can't use my phone at all at work so when I'd hear the notification I'd have to sneakily grab it and head to the bathroom... I'm not proud but i have a series X lol

    Also i wear headphones at work because i work with loud Machinery so i was always able to hear the notification no matter what i was doing.

    Hi. So I am looking to buy a Xbox Series S for my bedroom tv, I am mainly a PC gamer but I want some laid back gaming as well. I love to play Forza Horizon 4 on my PC and was wondering if I can play on my Windows account on the Xbox. Do I need to buy the game again and have another saved game or is it all connected?

    Also, do I need to pay to play online?

    Black screen of death?

    So I have been playing xbox since it first came out, but today I ran into a problem I turned my xbox on and it's just a black screen. I am plugged into the right HDMI I just don't know how to get out of this black screen, how do I fix it?

    “Cant connect to console” in remote plat

    Anybody have any idea what to do about this? I try loading up remote play, it loads for a minute, then tells me that. I have the latest iOS and all permissions checked
