    Help please. I changed the thermal paste on 2 of my slims today. The first one is working perfect now. This one just turns red. What do I do to fix this? I've taken it apart and messed with the clamps but no luck. I'm assuming that's the issue?

    Bizarre Xbox 360 power supply in constituency issue? Help needed!

    *inconsistency, my bad Okay my Xbox 360 got the red dot of death, so I brought it into a game store, they plug it into their in house power supply and it boots up like normal, green light and home screen! We assume my power supply brick was the issue, and they sell me a brand new one.

    Now here's the kicker, I set everything up, new power supply in place, and the red dot has returned with a vengeance. I am at a loss for what is going on here. I'm going to try a different room with a different set of wall sockets next, but beyond that I'm just stumped (and disappointed). Anybody have the slightest clue what might be going on here? Thanks a million.

    Hello! Bought my first ever Xbox 360 the other day and I’m about to set it up. It’s the black S kind and it says it was manufactured in 2012. What can I plug into the back usb hub? I have a usb powered ac infinity branded fan I wanted to use to help pull the hot air out on the top. Is it safe?

    It's not a big fan it's the same ones I use on my AV receiver, I am just making sure I can plug this directly into the back or if that is potentially damaging, this is my first Xbox ever and I don't want to fry it on accident. I don't know anything about electrical stuff the fan says it's 6.5 volts dc and 1.1 watt.

    Anyone here bought the original Xbox version of GTA San Andreas on the marketplace back in the day?

    The OG Xbox version of GTA SA is one of the best versions of the game but as you all know they replaced it with that remastered broken mess in 2014 which isn't good at all compared to the original Xbox version of the game, so if anyone bought the OG Xbox version digitally before they removed it from the marketplace let me know if you'd be willing to license transfer.

    Also my 360 disc tray has been broken for quite a awhile now so there's no point in getting the game disc.

    Issues with my 360

    I got a refurbished Xbox 360 (Kinect version) to replace my old one back in 2019. I've recently started playing it again but the console keeps shutting off by itself when I start it. Sometimes during the bootup, sometimes on the dashboard, sometimes when I start playing a game.

    The strangest thing is that there are a few moments where the console will stay on for as long as I turn it off, and other times the ping sound that plays when opening / closing the disc tray, will randomly play on its own.

    The console isn't overheating when I start it up either, and there's plenty of breathing room for it. My console must be cursed or something XD

    It's strange because I've had this problem before with my old Xbox, I replaced the power brick and it worked fine then. Should I replace my power brick, or would it be something else wrong with my console?

    Thanks in advance for anyone giving out advice, it means a lot.
