It's in very good condition ( I take very good care of my stuff, if that matters at all) I also have two gears of war special edition controllers that are in pretty good shape, and also a charging cable. | My progress so far and my dilemmas Posted: 27 Aug 2021 09:37 AM PDT If your thinking about putting an Xbox 360 in a pc like me, it's going to get hard..... So read this, take it as advice and advice and laugh at my desperation To mount the motherboard I have to drill holes in the metal casing that the Xbox's MOBO sits on, that corresponds to the mounting holes in the pc tower. I'll then have to strip the dvd optical drive cables and add more on to it to extend it so it'll be able to fit in the slot on my tower, I'll then have to find a way to keep it in place so it won't move around and will be properly secured. And since the tower came with cables for its USB ports and power button, I had to buy a conversion kit online that I can use on the 360. And then I'll have to hide the wires so they are not visible so much, then I'll have to find a way to simulate the cooling system seen with the 360 case on so it won't overheat. It's already a big task, and I'm going to get a raspberry pi to run an OS. So if your thinking if doing it, it's going to be costly, you want to give up and you need to know how extend wires. BUT it's not necessary hard, it's a great learning experience and a cool task, you just need a lot of patience and time. Keep in mind that this will take weeks possibly months if your going to go the extra mile. | Looking for friends/people to play online with Posted: 27 Aug 2021 11:57 AM PDT I recently got a 360 after my old one broke a few years ago and all my old friends have moved onto either the Xbox One or the PS4 and I'm looking for people who will are willing to play some games online with me. The games I have are Minecraft, COD BO1+2, WAW and Ghosts, (they're the only games I really want to play online) and would appreciate if someone/some people would be willing to play online with me! My timezone is GMT and my gamertag is zuicidal666. And if you have a mic that would be great as I find it easier to be able to communicate with people when playing with them online. | Recommendations for buying a 360 in 2021? Posted: 27 Aug 2021 03:18 PM PDT I basically just want to play 2 games. Blue dragon and lost odyssey. I know they have emulators for it but my pc is trash and wouldn't run them well. I used to have an original 360 almost 10 years ago but it red ringed. Apparently the slims are less likely to have that issue? Any recommendation on where to purchase like a refurbished one or something or is Amazon pretty much fine? | HELP NEEDED PLEASE - Xbox360e Power Problem Posted: 27 Aug 2021 02:08 AM PDT Hey Guys. I noticed that as soon as I turn on my xbox360e it shuts off within 10 seconds. Ive unplugged it from power and tried again and this time it lasted longer and I could play my game. Then It took about half an hour and it happened again. Ive replaced the power brick so I believe it isn't the power brick thats the problem because it still persists. Would anyone know what the problem may be? | HDMI Port is dead on my Jasper :( Posted: 27 Aug 2021 01:55 AM PDT Hello! I have a Jasper and I was just reading here that it was the most reliable model (had to be since I wondered why my friend's S version failed and mine was still running). Some time ago the HDMI port died. It is not broken or anything it just stopped working. I am sure it is not a software reason, but a hardware one. All my other connections work (VGA, Composite, Component). Thing is, I can survive with the other connections and I have plenty of converters from any of those signals to HDMI. Does the HDMI port have a fix? or the issue might be on the motherboard and that'll be just like "it is dead, period"? The disc tray also needs maintenance (doesn't open sometimes) and I wonder if after all these years this console needs a thermal paste change anyways.
