| Posted: 24 Jul 2021 10:12 AM PDT I'm new to Xbox I have friend's and family who have had Xbox's before and have been really happy so I decided I'm going to buy a new series s and because of that I have been in the look out for a good hard drive cuz I'm not buying that proprietary $200 bs so I've been looking and seagate HDD's and WD Black P10's and both companies have a designed or made for Xbox option and I don't know what that means all I know is that they seem to come with game pass is that the only plus to buying those special ones or are there other differences because I can't find any information about it. I've had this problem where whenever i plug them in i can't hear in game audio only party chat and it's annoying as my monitor doesn't have speakers and the speakers i have don't work with my xbox. My Xbox is over 7 years old so I was already in the market for a new Series X (my current is the original Xbox one) and I have a question I hope someone can answer. I've taken my Xbox apart and I have removed the hard drive. Is there any way I can convert it to usb so I can add it onto a new console so I can keep all of my data?
