    Hard Drive Question

    Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find a clear answer online so I want to verify here with the experts.

    I accidentally broke my xbox 360 slim. I'm going to get a replacement, but I still have my old hard drive with all my data (saved games, profiles, DLC, etc.). Ideally, I can get a cheaper xbox without a hard drive because I still have my original and it's not broken. I'm not sure if putting in my old hard drive into my new xbox will result in my drive getting reformatted or the data deleted or anything like that.

    Can I take a new xbox and put in my old hard drive and expect my data to remain safely? Or will the xbox try to auto-format my old hard drive upon installation, deleting all my data?

    Any insight would be appreciated, thanks!

    I have been trying to create an account on my xbox 360 but whenever i try to sign up or try to login into xbox live it prompts me the error code. I have tried all the methods on the forums to fix this, as well as multiple yt videos on it. Does anyone know any last resorts on how to fix this? Or am I just going to have to buy a new 360?

    Technical question regarding the hard drive

    So I copped an xbox 360 slim on ebay for like 30ish bucks since my old one stopped working a few months ago and I've been having the urge to play some Halo 4. Now the thing is, the xbox I bought came with no hard drive. I put in a USB but for some reason the updates aren't downloading since it says no storage device found.

    I can't play Halo 4 either now and think it's to do with the lack of there being an actual hard drive. My older xbox (xbox 360 E) had a 250gb hard drive (not external, but an actual Xbox storage device) an.

    I bought the Halo 4 legendary edition back in 2014 and had a ton of DLC content on my old hard drive. If i were to just take the older one (which isn't with me rn) and put it in the new xbox slim, would my DLC content, saves, and profiles go away?

    The game was one of those indie games on the arcade. It was a zombie survival game, I remember it was in a big city with like 10 different types of buildings. There was a couple stores, a hospital, normal houses, this science lab thing, and your average everyday building. The game's objects were blocky, the zombies were pretty bad graphic wise, and the hoards and stuff would increase every night in severity.

    If anyone knows the title I would be really happy if you could tell me!

    Was there ever a limited run of fans using their 360 without any fans, thanks to larger heatskinks?

    I don't remember much, but did people ever actually put larger (alot larger) heatsinks in their 360s to eliminate the use of fans?

    I seen a video mention it while I was on my phone, and got me remembering some sort of bs.

    2008 Falcon gets RROD instantly with 0010 error, not even a green light on power supply and the fans don't spin.

    List of Japanese exclusives?

    I'm looking into getting a Japanese 360 and a stack of games off of buyee. I couldn't really find a definitive list of the retail exclusives you can play without knowing Japanese, but I skimmed through Wikipedia, and here's what I got. If anyone can add to this or correct it that would be greatly appreciated. Also, how would I access the Japanese store and create a Japanese account?

    I've recently purchased the Mass Effect 3: Citadel DLC for my Xbox 360, but for some reason I'm being unable to download the "1 of 2" part of it

    So a few days ago I ended up purchasing this DLC for my Xbox 360, and so I immediately went to download the "1 of 2" part of it. After a couple hours it finished downloaded successfully, and so I went to download the "2 of 2" part, which also downloaded successfully.

    But then when I went back to ME3, I couldn't find anything related to the DLC on the journal or even at the Citadel itself. Turns out that, after checking the system storage, it was saying that the "1 of 2" part was incomplete. So I deleted it and tried downloading it again, but that's where the issue began. My Xbox 360 starts the download, and then immediately goes from 1% to 99% in just a couple seconds, before telling me that the download is complete, when in fact it didn't download anything.

    I then switched the storage to another external drive and only then it began downloading, but things only got weirder after that. Turns out that it downloaded the "2 of 2" part AGAIN, even with me having chosen the "1 of 2" part.

    Now I can't figure for the life of me what's going on here, and why my Xbox 360 is insisting on only downloading the second part, even with me choosing the first part several times now. Does anyone know what could be happening?

    PS.: I've already cleared the 360's cache, and nothing changed.

    Suggest an XBox360 game that is not run/gun/shoot/explode

    I don't mind the Saints Row and Red Dead games I have, but I really love solving puzzles and finding things and thinking my way out of problems. My all-time favorite PC game is Portal 2.

    I'm always looking for new titles with good puzzles without high emphasis on action and shooting. Suggestions?
