    Anybody can help me with using Hard Drives on the Xbox 360 Slim?

    Hello!

    I've had this 360 Slim for years now and I love it dearly. Though, back then I could only afford the 4GB model which for the longest time was an issue. Recently, I decided to put one of the 2.5 inch Hard Drives (140GB) I have laying around to use and I bought a SATA to USB adapter to use on the console.

    That worked! I downloaded all the games I had gotten with Gold over the years but couldn't install. Though, I always found myself in need of using that adapter for something else. This inspired me to get the case for Internal Hard Drive for the Xbox 360 Slim and use the very same Hard Drive with the USB but now in the case and using the actual SATA connection.

    However, this doesn't seem to work. When plugged in, the console doesn't even recognize the device.

    I am intrigued. This same Drive was being used moments ago with an USB adapter. But it just doesn't seem to work internally? Would I just need to format it on a computer and try again or is there another issue?

    I have seen many... many... MANY sides regarding this trophy. I am talking about the Xbox 360 version where you have to travel 100.000 km .The thing is that idk if I have to do this trophy with the game running (and console) between 5-10 hours, or if I can just split it (like 2 hours now, close console, 3 hours next, and so on) I have seen both sides talking about this and idk which to trust about this: 1- Keep playing straight 5-10 hours 2- Play the game however not straight, but with pauses. Does the count for the km that I have progressed carry over? Plz someone who finished the game 100% reply and thanks to anyone who replies, I really appreciate it! Now if you excuse me, I will go into rest mode.

    How To Mod GTA 5?

    (STRICTLY SINGLE PLAYER!)

    I recently got an XBOX 360 and have been playing GTA V.

    I wanted to become a cop with some sort of mod, or have a mod menu where the wanted system would be turned off for however long I chose. I've seen plenty of mod menus have this feature, and I know you have to have a USB (I have one).

    But all the tutorials online are absolutely garbage and basically don't help at all. The ones that DO help basically tell me I need a cracked system or JTAG (or the other thing I can't remember).

    I'm not looking to hack GTA Online as I don't even play that, nor would I be able to after December this year since it's being shut down for XBOX 360 and PS3. So I'm strictly looking for single player menu's (I know most mod menus are compatible with both, but I figured I should be specific).

    Can someone help me out? I just want the cops off my ass so I can pretend to be a cop. Or a mod that allows me to be a cop that will actually work.

    Anything cop related. I've already used Horizon to give me some money and boost my stats, but those aren't separate mods.

    Any help would be appreciated. Reddit has been a godsend for help, so I hope we can continue that trend.

    Questions about compatibility between 360 and Series S/X

    I play Reach and Halo 3 on my 360 with my kids on a regular basis. Everything is working as expected. The problem is my other 360 has 3 red LEDs and I don't have time to fix it, so I'm looking at buying another Xbox. Presumably, it will not be easy or even possible to buy an older Xbox without time and effort I can't afford to spend, which leads me to the questions:

    • Is it possible to play LAN games between a Series S/X and a 360?
    • I'd like to purchase the Master Chief Collection for both Xboxes, but I can't tell if MCC will function correctly on a 360. Will MCC work on a 360?

    As an aside, if anyone here wants to try to fix my broken 360, I'll pay for your time. I don't care about playing online and I don't care if the console can make use of every ounce of my TV's capabilities. In other words, I don't care which Xboxes I have - I just need two working units.

    Old xbox wont stop blinking red

    My mum found an old xbox 360, and i thought id be able to at least see it in action or use it, but it just wont stop blinking red. i looked it up and it said it had bad ventilation so i took it apart to see whether it was covered in dust and to my surprise, the thing is entirely clean.

    its the old model with the big flashing light, and the official xbox website said to turn it off and wait for the flashing to stop, but when you turn it off, it turns off entirely so its either off completely or flashing red. i was wondering if anybody would know what to do, whether to leave it to flash or just let it go cause its too old :/

    its just weird to me that its literally completely fine inside except for the fact that its the old model. also, when i first turned it on, it worked completely fine except for the audio but i think that was me plugging it into the wrong thing.it only started doing this when i turned it off and on again the second time so i know it works.

    if u know anything please let me know :)
