    Hey reddit,

    So not a lot of you will care, so no need to upvote. I just wanted to say that after being a ps4 player in the last gen (and 360 player the gen before), I'm highly thinking about converting to xbox once again.

    I'm thinking of grabbing a Series S with Gamepass. It's super cheap and it's basically always available at the major retailers.

    I din't want to fight bots to get a series x or ps5. Plus, Gamepass seems like a huge deal since I don't collect recent games.

    Honestly is anyone else fed up with the fact that you can't get even order a new XBOX. It's ridiculous how long I have been trying. yet they are still promoting and selling new games and packages... but where the hell is the system that they were a year late on release in the first place "to make sure they could be ready for release".

    How do i change in game laungage on xbox 360 (sorry for bad english)

    I thought by changing to local and laungage in settings it changes the laungage of games and console, and as it turns out i was wrong (tried russian and japanese)

    So I know this works, but does it stay local or still goes off to Microsoft servers of just Xbox > Router > iPhone? Not getting great performance and I was wondering if this is a factor before I look at upgrading hardware.

    I have an ea account problem and I have tried many things to fix it but nothing has seemed to work yet. So what happens is with some games my ea account connects successfully, like madden and NHL. But with other games like need for speed it either says, "no account to connect to" or "unable to connect. I've tried all the troubleshooting methods listed and some suggested by friends but nothing works yet. Any ideas?

    How can I gift an Xbox series S preloaded with games?

    Hi all, so my dad has just retired and I want to get him a good retirement gift. He has always been a gamer - he loves offline single player shooting and racing games. He is a PlayStation guy, but has basically exhausted PlayStation's catalogue of games that interest him. I've had a look and there are some Xbox exclusives that I think will be right up his alley (Halo, Forza, possibly Gears of War).

    So I want to surprise him with a gift of an Xbox and some new games for his retirement! My problem is that I'm in New Zealand - Xbox series S is available, but series X is not. I'm afraid that if buy him an Xbox series S and he has to set up an account and download games to play anything, he'll be put off as he prefers just to pop a disc in and play and he gets easily frustrated with online accounts and that sort of thing.

    Based on this context I'm asking for some advice. Is there a way I can buy an Xbox Series S and purchase and download some games to the console for him to enjoy? I have a Microsoft account, but I'm concerned if I buy them on my account they'll be linked to my account not his? Or will they be local on the console for him to enjoy whenever he wants?

    The other alternative is buying him an Xbox One and some physical copies of the games because that will be more familiar to him... but I'm not as keen on buying a previous generation console (he likes the newest toys!)
