I'm completely new and never had an Xbox so sorry if these questions are kinda stupid. -If I set my Xbox at rest mode are the downloads still downloading or are they getting stopped ? -How do I use the quick resume feature? -Is there a way to turn off automatic extension of the Ultimate Gold Pass ? I am working as a psychiatrist in Ireland (medical doctor) and I am part of a team of researchers interested in learning more about gaming disorder. Potentially I want to reduce the stigma attached to gaming disorder and get more information on what the demographic that is most affected by problematic gaming or gaming disorder looks like. I have grown up gaming my whole life and want to advocate for it by playing a role in shaping what gaming disorder becomes in the future. When I powered my xbox on, no graphics would show on my TV, and my wireless controller wouldn't connect to it. Then about a minute later, the console just automatically powered off. Posted: 07 May 2021 02:06 PM PDT I haven't used my XSX for a few months, but my PS5 just crapped the bed and I have to RMA it, so I plan to get back into XSX gaming again. Previously, I was getting frequent controller disconnects where the XSX had to be hard rebooted in order to get the controller working again and I know a ton of others were having this same issue. Has the issue been fixed by MS yet? I know they acknowledged it and said they were looking at a fix but I haven't been keeping up on the latest updates. [link] [comments] | ||
| EA Play perk from GamePass stopped working after changing password Posted: 07 May 2021 01:56 PM PDT Today i had to change the password for my Microsoft account, and just as the title says, after logging in EA Play doesn't work. When i tried to launch Titanfall 2, it took me to the EA app to log in. After i did that, it did nothing, when i checked my library the only game it says i have is Furi (which i uninstalled about 2 months ago, i also have Battlefield 4, Bomber Crew and Titanfall 2 which don't show up). When i check the store page for the games i rightfully should have access to, it tells me to buy EA Play. Help? (This is on PC) [link] [comments] | ||

It's weird, I don't understand why it happens. It will cause my Xbox One to have network issues and the light on my pad starts flashing like it's syncing, but I can't use it at all when it does. Even when the network issues resolve themselves the joypad will continue to flash. It started doing it a few months ago, but its gotten really bad these past few days. I daren't charge anything in case it does it. I normally have the hard reset for it to work again, but these past few days I've had to hard reset at least 4, 5 times a day. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I genuinely have no idea what the problem is or if I can even fix it. I don't know if its the battery packs, internet or console (I've had it since 2013).
