    Hey 👋

    Not sure this is the right sub to post in however as an avid Xbox gamer this was the first place I looked.

    I'm currently going through a breakup and a house sale, as such I only get access to my XSX 3 nights a week.

    I have a group of gamer friends however due to work, other commitments and a couple of them branching off to different platforms I'm frequently left longing to play something but with no one to play with.

    Take Second Extinction for example. Left 4 dead with Dinos!? Perfect. Sign me up. But I can't get my friends online to play with me.

    So are there any Xbox gamers out there who are looking for friends? For reference I'm 27 and I'm from the UK. Ideally someone who can play close to 8pm to around midnight GMT time zone would be great.

    In terms of games I'll try anything and have an okay download speed that I can finish a big download before the next gaming night.

    It'd be great to find like minded people who are up for a few games, even if it's just a once a week thing to help alleviate some boredom and have a great time while doing it! Feel free to comment or message me direct, no worries either way!

    I’m not sure why this is happening but, i can’t play any game I own, even free ones. Whenever I start a game it instantly closes and displays this error message. Any help would be appreciated

    Primary Console Tip

    To ensure your games play when you are offline (… or Microsoft Xbox servers are offline!) you need to go to settings and personalisation and set your Xbox console as your primary console.

    Then in theory, you can play games offline and avoid errors people have been seeing today.

    But there is a second part to this most people don't mention - you need to launch every game, at least one time, while online.

    For example: if you download a new game to your primary console ready to save for a rainy day, it will not work offline until it has been played online at least one time first.

    You need: - primary console setup - and to launch each game at least one time online

    Then you can play games offline

    Started playing hood outlaws and my team chat doesn't work. Tried two different controllers and headphones. Went through my settings and did a power cycle. Swapped to my gfs acct and hers works. Checked my suspensions/ban status and I have a perfect record. Anyone know a fix? I haven't contacted Microsoft support because..well, it's Microsoft support.

    Is anyone else having this problem? Is this just something to blame on COVID? My latency consistently is around 20-30ms, and my download is also around 100mbps. However, I can't play any online multiplayer game without suffering stuttering every ~5 seconds or so and it's honestly awful to play with. I am just not sure what the problem is because I have tried a wired connection as well and the same thing is happening.

    Anybody deal with this problem as well?
