    Added a OG version xbox to my collection today. It was 10 bucks so i couldn't pass it up. It ran and worked fine but boy was it dirty. I also did a clean and clock capacitor removal because these things will kill your console big time if not treated. I just snipped it out till i can find a new one

    Game ideas for a depressed teenager

    My younger brother, 14 years old, successfully went through chemo this last fall and is now cancer free! However, he has been battling severe depression for the last few months and it scares me. I love several hours away and would love some game ideas so I can help him in a more natural way. I know he likes Rocket League, Fortnite, and Minecraft. He doesn't have a Switch, but does really like Mario. If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

    Hey!

    There's a some way fix to this- first- your messages from xbox now go to your normal chats section, but you still might not see it here, this is because... They send the notification to your xbox when you get a code, however, this may not necessarily be for the account your playing on, it may even be for an account that isn't logged in. So check all the accounts on your xbox, under your normal chats.

    TLDR: Your messages from xbox are now in normal chats and you might get a notification from a different account, even if your not logged into it, so check all your accounts.

    Sorry if this is a little confusing but it's kinda hard to explain.

    Also- If you get a code, you don't have to redeem it on the account that you get it, you can redeem it to any account.

    I'm looked so many things up tried almost everything BUT take it apart which I'm trying to avoid if I'm on YouTube or anything it's fine just after 10 mins of play a game it just turns off yes it might be a over heating problem but I've made sure there is plenty of room around the console for air flow still doesn't work I've even tried to put a fan facing the back part of the console just cause I was desperate at that point I'm all out of ideas anyone got any??

    For some reason, every time I try to join a party, join a game, or invite someone to a party, the buttons are grayed out and I can't choose them. I've tried several things, but I just can't figure out why this is happening. Anybody know how to fix this

    Ordered one yesterday to play a few Xbox exclusives (Halo, miss Halo) and to keep me going til the PS5 comes out since my PS4 is starting to show it's age, and I'm just wondering is it any good?

    I know it's not as good as the Series S, but is it still a good console?

    How do I update the 360 so I can play backwards compatible games?

    So I'm at my grandma's house for easter right now and I'm on my old 360(I own a one x at home) wanting to play some original xbox games but the console says I need to have the most recent update to play them. How do I update it? Keep in mind the 360 has not been online since 2015 so there may be some new thing I'm not familiar with.

    Xbox/controller issue

    Okay so, My Xbox parties are super choppy and sounds robotic every 45 seconds or so. My controller also randomly disconnects from the Xbox to the point that I have to take the battery pack out and put it back in just to power cycle the controller. I'm on controller number 2 as I thought it was a controller issue but it's doing the same in the second controller, is it a connectivity issue with my Xbox?

    Can you install regular Xbox One versions of Series X/S optimised games to the Series consoles?

    I picked up a Series S recently and am loving it, the only problem being the small internal storage which I knew going into the purchase so it's fine, I'll be picking up a storage expansion eventually.

    For now though, I was hoping there was a way to install regular Xbox One versions of Series X/S optimised games to my external Hard Drive so I could play those without having to constantly move game files back and forth? Some games like Siege and Gears I don't play that often so it's not worth keeping them on the Internal when that space could be better used. I wouldn't have an issue just playing the older versions but it seems to default to installing the Series X/S optimised version which I have no choice but to move back and forth every time I want to play.

    Is there a way round this I'm not seeing? Obviously I'd rather the enhancements but until I can get the storage expansion card I physically don't have enough space and would rather play an inferior version than spend 20-30 minutes moving game files before a game session with friends! Any help would be appreciated

    I got my Xbox one in December of 2014, so I'm pretty sure it's first generation. It works perfectly fine, no issues, damage etc. how much would it go for on eBay for example?

    How do I fix corrupted save data without deleting it?

    I play Sonic Generations on my Xbox One and after I recently beat the game, I got a message saying the game data was corrupt. I've looked for solutions online, but I couldn't find any way to fix my corrupted data without deleting hours of work I spent on the game. I need any help I can get.
