    I never really looked inside my fat 360, even with a disc drive that you have to pull open and push back. (motor's broken but oh well)

    Well I found out it's a late 2009 Kronos motherboard. :)

    Phat 150 watt PSU grinding fan noise when powered on

    The PSU fan is making a grinding/crackling noise when powered on. PSU was disassembled before for cleaning purposes. I checked the fan and I couldn't see anything that might cause the noise, there was no dirt inside the fan, its super clean. Strangely enough when I remove the fan from the PSU while its still connected to it, its runs quietly. I know its the problem is the fan because when I disconnect it from the PSU, the PSU runs dead silent. Bearings are failing perhaps?

    For some reason every time when I turn on my Xbox 360 that are red light flashes on the power button and instantly shuts off can someone explain to me what's going on with my Xbox

    Xbox 360 slim acting unusual?

    I live in texas, and its very hot on average right now. House has no AC so i dont know if this is cause of this. Lately over the past few days my 360 is making a weird sound by itself. it sounds like the eject tray is being pushed but nothing is near it. It will do this like every 3-20 minutes by itself until i unplug the power box and back in. then it wont do it again for several hours or days.

    Now until about 2 months ago, it had been in storage in arizona, but it was hidden away to where it wouldnt get any kind of moisture or wetness. And before that it had been about...maybe 5 years since i played it last. I think the last time I played it was in 2014 but im not 100% sure.

    Anyways anything that can cause this or a simple fix i can do? I only have it for a few games that never got a pc or ps3 release that interested me.

    The light on the power brick is orange but when I unplug it flashes red for a split second is this something to be worried about or is it safe to unplug it when I'm not using it?
