| Xbox One X & S Controller Connectivity Issues - Is there an IR Extender? Posted: 21 Feb 2021 06:16 AM PST My Xbox One X is in a media closet that is roughly 40 feet away from where I play and I constantly have connectivity issues. The controller will either fully disconnect or not respond to what I'm pressing. I tried to look around for IR receivers to extend from the Xbox to somewhere closer to where I play, but I can not seem to find a definitive solution. But when we do it pops up that "you are already playing on the Xbox one". The email for the account is owned by my step father. Neither me nor my brother want to give up what we had accomplished on our games. And more stress has been added because my brother is planning on moving out with in the next couple months.We have already tried calling Microsoft about this issue and they didn't help. | Posted: 21 Feb 2021 11:35 AM PST I have a Series S and I have played Forza Horizon 1 several times without issues, last time just one or two days ago. Today, when I want to launch the game, it gets stuck on the "XBOX 360" loading screen. Tried both from internal storage and an external SSD, restarted the console, no luck. I'm currently reinstalling it, but my hopes are not high. I don't have other 360 game so I can't check whether it happens with all of them. EDIT: Reinstall didn't help. Then I googled this is a known issue. I tried the workaround (Settings > System > Storage > Clear local Xbox 360 storage), which, strangely, rebooted the whole console, but ultimately fixed this!
