Titles "Leaving Soon" on Game Pass need to display the actual date they leave Posted: 26 Jan 2021 11:19 AM PST Unless I am missing something, they do not show what day they are actually leaving, would love to see this as I should not have to search for it online. [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Jan 2021 08:01 PM PST I've been using the LS35X for... has it really been two years? I'm convinced this is the best pure gaming headset for the Xbox One. Xbox wireless connection with no dongle. The newer, more expensive LS50X requires a dongle. Mic quality is by leaps and bounds better than anything I come across on Xbox Live. Picks up only what I say. No echo. No AC. Everyone else sounds like they're playing outdoors when the AC is on. My only issue with the chat experience is that I have to greatly increase volume and turn down in-game chat or party chat for other players so I can get the benefit of mic monitoring without game or chat sound being over loud. For example, in Overwatch I have the in-game chat volume set to 50%. That way I can mix the chat volume on the headset so I come across at a realistic volume. The red mic light when muted should be mandatory on all gaming headsets. It can also be easily removed so you can watch Netflix and eat a snack without it getting in the way. These look so much more refined other gamer marketed headphones. They're a bit bulky and heavy for on the street. If you're gaming or watching movies, you won't notice. If you're walking and turning your head, they could slip some. But the big ear cup controls are intuitive and the padding has a relatively cool gel. My original unit had cracking in the headband and would occasionally lose connection. LucidSound replaced it and I've been gaming on my current pair for about a year and a half. I have NOT ONCE disconnected with this pair and I use them wirelessly for at least 4 hours a day, sometimes 12. Yes, it's going to require you to be in front of your Xbox. This shouldn't be a problem for anyone intending to actually game. If I could change anything about them, sure Bluetooth connectivity would be an addition. At the same time, not so sure I want my phone interrupting a game or stream. Micro USB charging is a bit of a pain and USB-C is a little easier to manage but no deal breaker. I'd prefer a wireless or docked charging alternative. Anyhow, just my two cents. You see a lot of reviews online of gaming headsets when they're new, but never how they've held up. Xbox One sale: Aliens Vs. Predator (2010) Posted: 26 Jan 2021 08:22 PM PST This game is on sale for $8 CAD right now. I'd recommend picking up the game if you played it in the past or haven't played it ever. For a game of it's age the graphics hold up well and so does the gameplay. Right now the game gets 2-3 full player lobbies during the day on Xbox one. Would be great if more people picked up the game to increase the playerbase as it really is a fun casual game to play alone or with friends and have some fun. Edit: Feel free to message me if you ever play sometime and want another player. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Jan 2021 07:22 PM PST So I've exhausted every option I can think of on this. My wife's profile was deleted by our 5 year old. When she created the account years ago, she signed up with a email she has no idea she used. We think she used the "create a Microsoft live account" and it gave her a outlook email address, but it was never used so we don't even know the email address. The other issue is we moved about 5 hours away, and we changed our mobile numbers instead of porting them. So we can't use the old phone number to get into the account. Why can't we just use her gamertag to say forgot password and then answer security questions? Is the account gone forever? I can see her on my friends list and it's so aggravating because it shows no details what so ever. Any ideas? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Jan 2021 10:11 PM PST So my xbox live account is over 10 years old I've NEVER had this problem before but I got on to play some Halo and when I tried to play it says "Multiplayer is not allowed the multiplayer feature is blocked due to your xbox live settings. Please make sure you have the correct Xbox Live account and your family settings are turned off." Not sure why my xbox live settings would randomly change after 10 years. I'm 25. My account didn't get hacked. I didn't say anything or message anything bad to anyone. So I go into my Xbox settings and it says "Multiplayer games are BLOCKED" I try to click "ALLOW" and save and it doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this and why this happened randomly? SUPER CONFUSED HERE! [link] [comments]

Why do they have to put “Xbox Assist” as the last thing in options menu? Posted: 26 Jan 2021 11:29 AM PST It is so much convenient to Quit an app/game by going - Options - RT - A. It turned into muscle memory. Until today, they added Xbox Assist as the last thing so RT hovers to it. Dear MS Nobody I have met uses xbox assist [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Jan 2021 09:30 PM PST I posted a comment in a club for the first time and now I'm getting a notification every single time someone comments on the post. I can't figure out how to turn these notifications off and it's really annoying. I even tried turning off club notifications in the Xbox settings. [link] [comments]

Giving the old Xbox to a friend Posted: 26 Jan 2021 03:11 PM PST I was extremely lucky that I was able to pick up the series X, which showed up today. I can't wait to give it a try. I have the OG Xbox one, which I am giving it away to a friend. Other than re-setting the old Xbox to factory settings, what other precautions should I take ? I just want my data wiped from the machine and do not want the old machine linked back to my account. Looking online, I have transfered my games to the external drive which I will plug into the new Xbox. Just for clarification - am not going to be sharing games with my friend, or sharing account. I just want to give him a 'clean' machine so he can sign up for his own account, and have it linked to his own email address. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
