    Right bumber broke on my regular controller, so i went looking for a new controller. I went through 5 shops and could not find a single regular controller, 2 shops had 1 Elite controller. So i bought this instead. For 170€ this better last.

    14 day Xbox live trial I found in my halo 5 case from 2015! Should still work! I wouldn’t use it if you already have GP Ultimate or Gold because it is a trial. Hopefully someone out there can experience gold for the first time!

    Should a PS4 owner move to Xbox series X?

    I bought a PS4 pro a while back, enjoyed it a lot. But coming to the next gen consoles, I am tempted to move to Xbox. Here's my thought:

    I feel that the Xbox will be superior this gen, and provide a better value proposition than the PlayStation in terms of the cost of the games and overall services. Considering how much they're trying to unify PC and Xbox players, a discord integration seems likely.

    Both consoles in my country cost the same, but each game will be considerably more expensive than the last-gen. I have a PlayStation Plus membership that will carry to the next-gen, but my experience with the plus titles is underwhelming, PS now is not available in my country yet, and that doesn't seem very promising either.

    On the other hand, Xbox Game Pass has solid AAA and decent indie titles, with new games being added monthly, not to mention the cloud gaming and PC gaming subscription clubbed with Xbox gold.

    I have a few accessories that also tie me to the PlayStation such as my sim racing wheel, but I could invest in a converter that lets me use the same setup on Xbox as well, not that big of a deal.

    The only games I'll miss with the PlayStation are Gran Turismo, Demon Souls and other From software exclusives. But I'm still excited to play Halo, Gears and Forza.

    Considering how shoddy Sony's privacy service and broken their UX is now on the PS4, it only pushes me towards the other side.

    I don't care about the looks and feel of the controller/console. Both of them will feel good and I prefer the minimalistic look of the Xbox.

    There's equal incentive on both sides, what would you suggest I choose?

    Also, the PC race, get some sun.

    I'm a pc gamer (only for about a month now) and I adore my fare share of controller games. So if an elite series 3 controller comes out, I will definitely buy one.

    I've never been one to jump on new products right away, so I waited a while before even thinking about getting an xbox one. Along those same lines, I didn't pre-order a new console, but I'm planning on buying one whenever I start seeing them in stores. In your experience, how long after a new console launch are the pre-orders taken care of, and you can typically buy one off the shelf?

    A Common Misconception I've Seen About the Games with Gold Program...

    This won't affect a lot of you because most people that I know continuously pay for Xbox Live Gold and never have the worry of their subscription lapsing. For those that can't afford to continuously pay for Xbox Live Gold, they may plan to get their month or so when they see a game on the GWG program that interests them. Here's the misconception:

    Whenever I ask someone on Reddit if we get to keep our Xbox GWG games after our subscriptions expire, they always tell me "Not the Xbox One games, but you get to keep the Xbox 360 games". THIS IS TECHNICALLY CORRECT, BUT ONLY ON XBOX 360.

    I went on a live chat with an Xbox employee on the Xbox website, and they told me we only get to keep the Xbox 360 games after our subscription on XBOX 360. Those games will not be playable on your Xbox One after your subscription is over.

    So for those of you planning to get an Xbox Live Gold membership this month with the hopes of keeping the Xbox 360 version of Full Spectrum Warrior or Lego Indiana Jones, remember that unless you're playing on an Xbox 360, you won't get to keep it once your subscription is over.

    Thank you for reading, and I hoped this helped someone from making the same mistake I did of purchasing a month of Xbox Live Gold expecting to add 2 more games to my digital collection.

    Please help me choose a good external hard drive for 13 year old who wants to record. (Clueless mom needs some help!)

    My 13 yo has an xbox one. He has asked for an external hard drive that is capable of recording him play. I don't know exactly what it would do to be honest, but I was hoping someone on here could direct me to something for around $100.

    His favorite games are 2K and Madden if that makes a difference.
