It's been a month since I purchased Xbox Live and it still refuses to sync to my campus wifi. I've registered everything correctly with Microsoft and my campus and am currently trying to troubleshoot with ITS on campus. There's something about these consoles... and yes they're cheap I swear. They're so cool to look at and I love fixing stuff. | Xbox 360 won't keep correct time Posted: 16 Nov 2020 06:40 PM PST Our Xbox 360 won't keep correct date or time. We hadn't used it in a long while but now are trying to use it again. I set the time on it, but when we turn it off, it goes back to January 1, 2006. I tried connecting it to our wifi (even though we don't play online). That synced it to the correct time, but as soon as I turned it off, it reset to Jan 1, 2006 the next time it was turned on. Is there a way to get it to keep correct time? [link] [comments] | ||

We set up the xbox 360 years ago and it set up a default "player1" account. We never connected it online & didn't play xbox 360 for years. we recently started playing xbox 360 again and the only account on the xbox is player1. i would like to have family controls & set up additional accounts, but i am afraid if i do this, i will need a password to log back into the original player1 account, and i have no idea what that password would be. the account is not linked to any email address either since we have never played online or used xbox live etc... I'm curious if there's hope for attainability in some games via LAN connection, if you happen to have 2 360s and 2 copies of the same game.
