People who managed to buy an Xbox Series X/S without a preorder/after release date, how did you do it?

    Posted: 15 Nov 2020 07:08 AM PST

I know Walmart has online restock updates at certain times, and Target apparently has an instant online update for if people cancel their order.

So, what did y'all do. I'm sure the info would help plenty of people here.

(Also, side question, did anyone manage to purchase one in store on release, and if so, what store?)

These cutscenes on Cold War for the Xbox One S are pretty glitched and lag every time

    XSX Still Turning off

    Posted: 15 Nov 2020 08:44 AM PST

So my Xbox Series X keeps turning off while I play BOCW and yes I do have the 130 GB version and not the regular Xbox One version. I've tried multiple stuff, but still doesn't work. I know its not my xbox because when I'm in the dashboard everything is fine, but when I load the game it turns off 10 seconds in. Please I just want to play man 😔

Anyone else not receive their 9/22/20 Preorder?

    Posted: 15 Nov 2020 09:34 AM PST

My preorder from September from the Microsoft Store is still stuck as "pending." Nobody from customer support has been any help other than to tell me to cancel it and re-order one, which I cannot do because it gives an error message for me as well as them when trying to cancel.

Does the series X play 360 games if you have the disc?

What can I expect performance wise between frames, fidelity and ray tracing

    Posted: 15 Nov 2020 02:06 PM PST

I'm curious how realistic is it for me to expect that most games will have 4k at 60fps with ray tracing?

I'm not entirely in the know so I apologize if this question has been answered however my search didn't yield the answers I'm looking for.

Spiderman Miles Morales on the PS5 has either 4k at 30fps or the "performance" version that has 60 fps but no ray tracing. I assumed this generation was going to be able to lock the 60fps with 4k AND ray tracing.

Are most games in the future going to be like this, in particular big map games? And is there reason to believe that if the PS5 can't offer this, will the Series X be able to?
