Is GameStop a good place to get 360 games? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 07:40 PM PDT I'm planning on getting a 360 pretty soon so I've been doing some research on where to get games. I'd love to support small businesses and get games from the local retro game store but GameStop has better prices so I'll be buying most of my games from GameStop. Has anyone else bought 360 games from GameStop? Are they in good shape or is it worth spending the extra money at a retro game store to ensure the game will work? [link] [comments]
Issue with Xbox live connection on Xbox 360 purchase Posted: 31 Oct 2020 05:39 PM PDT So I purchased one from a used store and it seems to work fine. Except when I go to download on the App Store or purchase for games it asks me to sign into Xbox live but it won't give me the option and or it will show my profile but give me no sign in option Anybody have a similar issue? Easy(ish) but interesting games for a beginner? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 07:38 AM PDT Hello. So a quick bit about me. I'm 36, female, single mum of 3 aged 5, 8 and 10. I'm also extremely clinically vulnerable in this whole 2020 world. I'm bored to death now of all my usual hobbies and interests. We have an Xbox 360 which my son uses for Minecraft and Skylanders. My girls use it for Lego Dimensions and I have ALL the Lego games which I enjoy because they are easy, the kids can join me and I just find them wholly enjoyable. I'd not say I'm terrible at games... just never really played much before. I actually enjoy watching people play games and realised I most enjoy ones with an open world/map because I like the exploration. I also like ones with missions and/or a good narrative. Bonus points if it's fantasy of some kind because that's my shit. I recently watched a friend playing through Shadow of War and really enjoyed that but seems way out of my abilities right now. I struggle with using 2 joysticks to see where you are going and I'm not great at aiming on shooter games etc. But if it has auto aim or similar then clearly I am better then. I feel like I have this resource here already to help pass more of this crap isolation and if I can find a game I can get really into... I think it'll go a long way to helping. We have a few resale stores in my town with games very cheap and I know places to look online but I honestly just have no idea what games to try. Please help me. I'm so severely bored. Like... we have 3 kittens now to try and help the loneliness but all they do is sleep. They get the zoomies for like 30 minutes and sleep again. Very very cute but I need something to alleviate the boredom of life in isolation. Please help [link] [comments]
