    It's not easy to reboot an old franchise. I think this deserves some genuine praise. It's pretty much the Sonic Mania treatment for Battletoads. The art style has been refreshed so even younger audience can get in to it. The cartoon style look easily blends with the cutscenes vs. 8 bit style.

    Xbox One S ran for over a year without shutting off

    Hi, so about a year ago I decided to use my sisters xbox one S as an Ark server and had it running for about an entire year before it really decided to lose function. Like it would not boot up, it would just sit at the xbox loading screen for about 15 minutes before displaying an error message. Recently I decided to open it up and have a look to see if I could diagnose the problem. I've attached some images that I think might be the primary reasons for it not working properly.

    1. I was very careful when dismantling the power supply and wore rubber gloves as I opened it up as I know the power supply can be extremely dangerous
    2. There seems to be a coating of white stuff along different areas of the motherboard. I have no idea what this could be.
    3. In the case that everything with the cpu/heatsink is fine, should I scrape off the thermal paste and apply new thermal paste?

    I mainly came here hoping that someone with a bit more knowledge than me could help me diagnose the problem, so that I could potentially fix/replace it. Whether it be replacing the motherboard or anything else. All feedback is valued!!!

    Title really but I've only seen it pop up once before and I didn't win anything. Saw it again today and watched it and won £7 Xbox Live gift card credit.

    For anyone who fancies their chances haha. I bought Telltales Walking Dead The final season with the prize while it was on sale.

    FYI: I bought the peanut butter last week, it's terrible. Wouldn't recommend.

    The 1st one was when I was playing RDR2 and I got a random invite from someone I don't know. Not in my friends list, not in clubs I'm in. The second time was when I was just in the home menu. This random person invited me to a party and kept inviting me until I just blocked them. Has anyone else been having this problem?

    Found a fix for Elite controller mic echo

    I have an Elite series 2 controller. Occasionally the other people in my party chat could hear themselves through me, even if I had my headset muted.

    Solution: In the party chat menu click Options > Audio Settings, then toggle "Headset Mic" off. Wait a couple seconds then toggle it back on. That should fix it. You might need to do this again when you reset the console but I haven't tested for that.

    More info: Turns out this is another dumb Microsoft software issue that they will probably never patch. While testing I switched to a normal xbox controller and noticed it did not have the echo problem, so I assumed my fancy pants Elite 2 controller was defective. But then I noticed that normal controllers do not have that "Headset Mic" option at all which led me to discover that toggling it off and on with the elite solves the echo issue. Also note that there are lots of different things that can cause different kinds of echo so this solution may not work for you. Hopefully it helps some people though.

    Xbox Capture Limit

    Folks, any way to increase the capture limit in HD? I want to record all my Sekiro boss fights but this limit is so frustrating..I am no pro so my fights usually last more than 5 minutes and thus I can't capture complete fight.

    Online multiplayer coop question

    Does anyone have the issue with certain games (ex. Resident evil 6 & caste crashers) where their friend randomly gets kicked out? We've tried uninstalling his account from his Xbox and hard resetting but it's a consistent issue.

    Can you redeem a UK key from CDKeys in other European countries?

    I would like to know if it's possible to redeem a UK key in other European countries. I'm asking because they have a game I want on sale, but they only have UK keys. Their FAQ says all keys are region-locked, but AFAIK, games for Xbox One are not region-locked like they are on PS4 and some PC platforms. Also, some people on other forums say they work.

    I have bad controller drift, I got 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol to gently rub in my sticks. Is this okay? Will it evaporate fast enough?
