    With many of these publishers like EA and 2K confusing cross generation buys I started to think of an analogy many of you can relate to.

    Imagine if a game publisher published a game that's compatible with with the latest android version and IOS. You buy the game on your iPhone or android device. A couple of years later, a new IPhone comes out and a new android phone comes out with their new iOS and android versions. If you want to play the game on your new device you have to pay more money or buy it by a certain time??? I understand leaving consoles behind because they have dated tech like the mobile game industry does with older iPhones or android devices. But if your game comes out on both generations meaning that it is compatible with both the old and the new, there shouldn't ever be a reason you should pay for a game twice or pay more.

    I also understand mobile game industries are different but can you imagine if PC players had to pay for another copy as well if they bought a new computer with new architecture and new parts?? They buy the game once and it's on there forever. No matter what new parts or architecture is in.

    Consoles change architecture too and I understand if they don't make a game on the old console BUT if it comes out on both consoles there isn't a reason you should pay more for your new PS5 or XBOX Series X. It should be a free transition

    They are literally taking advantage of the console ecosystem. I hope this post gets enough views because I hope that a developer out there starts to fight back against anti consumer publishing practices. I also hope Microsoft and PlayStation sees this and forces publishers to carry their game over for free similar to Apple and Android.

    Why not use some of the money that the millions of users are paying for a subscription to find out and fix whatever recent issues you have been having with the core services. I'm getting tired of paying for live if every other day It seems there is some problem with the service.

    If i get a ethernet cable and connect it from the router to my Xbox one, will it make the game faster and not lag?

    My Download Speed is 18.01 Mbps and Upload Speed is 1.15 Mbps. I currently have Xfinity wifi which 4 people use in this house. My game always lags because of the usage and I want to know if an ethernet cable will do the job to fix the lag.

    Help a Clueless Mom Out! Which Xbox???

    Hi,

    My daughter's birthday is next week and she wants the Xbox Minecraft Bundle Edition. I grew up with Atari, so I have no idea what I am buying. Lol! Can I get some advice?

    It seems the Xbox Minecraft Bundle is discontinued or hard to find. Can I just get an Xbox and buy the game separately? Or is the bundle something special?

    It looks like she wants Xbox One, but what is Xbox 360? Is one better than the other?

    Prices seem all over the place. What is a reasonable price for these new?

    Would it be wise to buy a refurbished console? I have no experience with previously owned electronics - are they worth it or too much of a risk?

    Any help would be appreciated and thank you for helping me be the "best mom ever."

    Hey guys,

    Just recently picked up Elite Series 2 Controller. I know there are threads on this topic already, but they all are archived and comments are closed, and I have some new questions about the product. What do you guys use for Thumb-stick Tension and curvature (sensitivity). Right now, I am using true diagonals as my calculation (still don't understand this). I understand the overall the differences but would like to know in laymen's terms what the different options mean in terms of calculating.

    Additional Questions:
    1. What do you put your stick sensitivity at? How high (or low) for left and right
    2. Do you recommend placements of tall or short thumb-stick, or is it pure preference and there is no advantage? I was told if you change from a short thumb-stick to a tall one, you actually have to do more inputs to move the same distance (or turn). @ Djxgam1ng (Shameless Plug for Gam3r Tag Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Mixer, Youtube)
    3. In terms of sensitivity curve, I always thought INSTANT was way to do. When I play Division 2, I see an enemy, I want to lock on immediately. Well, others have suggested your MOVEMENT thumb-stick (left) be SMOOTH.....and AIM thumb-stick (right) be Aggressive. I understand the common difference between smooth and aggressive, but I guess the difference between aggressive and instant is a little muddy to me. What do you guys suggest

    All of the videos I have found on the internet are reviews and some of them explain the very basic features covering the differences between the 1st Gen and 2nd Gen, and also the optional changes I mentioned above, but no one could really explain what the differences were and how it effects gameplay. Learned more from comments posted on threads of this very topic than the actual reviews themselves.

    I play Division, but feel free to explain differences you would choose based on the different games you would play. The only thing that really makes the most sense is if you were doing a racing game, you would want SMOOTH option for steering vehicle because not only do you want to be able to make turns as aggressive or instant (think of a NASCAR racetrack), but you don't need to turn INSTANTLY (unless of course it's a 90 Angle)... I don't know, maybe I don't understand it at all.

    But hey, let me know what you guys think and have a great 4th of July

    Just got back to my folks house excited to show my girlfriend from school a couple of my old 360 games. I opened them up to find empty cases :( sounds like my mom left them out at a garage sale and someone took a bunch of games. Are there cheap ways to get digital copies of 360 games? Also my one x is across the country so I'd have to be able to play them on a 360. If you have any ideas let me know!

    If I buy xbox game pass ultimate when I already have xbox live gold, will the gold convert into ultimate? I have already had the deal to convert my whole gold subscription to ultimate for £1 but it ran out. So I bought gold again and now I'm wondering if I pay the £10.99 will it convert my gold subscription to ultimate?

    Is there a limit to how many screenshots and captures you can have on your account?

    Can't seem to fine a valid answer anywhere online so might as well ask. I have over 400+ screenshots in halo 5 alone and I was just curious to know if there is a limit. I notice that your screenshots will vanish from local storage after awhile and they are saved on the xbox live servers. Is there a limit to cloud stored screenshots or is it indefinite? Thanks if you can answer!

    DTS Sound Unbound and Arctis 9x

    Purchased this after a successful beta run with my headset, but they don't seem to have made their way to the full release? Arctis 9x? Seems to have the other Arctis headsets but not the 9xs, which is strange as they appeared in beta without issue.

    Anyone else having the same? Hopefully they sort it soon and add support.

    I can see messages and group posts, but I can't access any multiplayer games. I've tested my nat type and reset my router, but nothing seems to change. Are their servers down for the third day in a row?

    Which are the best rechargeable batteries?

    thanks to all the free time I get because of coronacation I've been grinding modern warfare and Rocket league non stop. Because of that I've been running out of batteries. I use up about 3 pairs of double AAs a week. I want to buy a pair of rechargeable batteries that last a long time and that can be charged without another controller. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    So, I still play on an Xbox 360, and I connected my Xbox Live to my Discord Account. But I just opened up one of my games and it doesn't show up as my status..why is that? Do I need to get an Xbox One for this to work? Thanks

    Hello, I got my Xbox account hacked a few years back - he changed all the information (backup email, number associated with the account, ect) I was about 13 when I lost it, and I've been trying to get it back ever since, but every time I contact Microsoft about the issue they brush it off, for the simple reason I don't remember my moms credit card information from a few years back (might I add, she got a new card since) I really don't know what to do anymore, ofc I don't remember my Skype contacts names, or the last 5 people who sent me emails on that account. This is really my last resort to get help.

    My external hard drive is not being recognized anymore. Please Help

    My call of duty was acting weird so I decided to restart my console by holding the power button down for about 15 seconds after unplugging my external hard drive. When I started the Xbox back up, it is no longer recognizing that I have a hard drive plugged in, and I don't know what to do.
