    This is a launch day 360. Used it for system link. Finally rrod'd today. That's my Jasper behind it can leave it on all night and it's still cold. Anybody know how old this Xbox is? Gotta give it a burial and a gravestone. Only fair.

    I run into ERROR issues all the time on the Microsoft Store constantly and can't seem to get anything to ever actually finish downloading. I want to be able to enjoy Xbox titles again but nothing can't ever seem to download properly. Everything was fine until the Xbox BETA app came out and ever since then it has been on massive shit pile.

    First off, sorry if any of these have been posted, I just haven't been able to find answers to any of these.

    So, first question; how does password saving work, why won't it save certain sites such as reddit, and how do I manage my current passwords? It just currently boots me out of the side menu.

    Second question; can I access multiple windows? If so, how do I switch between the two?

    Strike pack question

    So I bought the strike pack for the paddles, and I want to just try out the mods that came with it, but don't know if I'll get banned or not if I use them? Banned from Xbox or MW?

    Has anyone used these mods for awhile and not get banned?

    I'd like to try the FAL in Warzone because that's a OP gun and with rapid fire that would be fun to use lol. Let me know

    Original Xbox One connection issues?

    I've got the original Xbox One and original PS4. I play Destiny 2 on both, as well as on Stadia on my MacBook. PS4 and Stadia both work great, but my Xbox takes forever to log in and load, and even in small coop activities (3 players), teammates and AI enemies are teleporting across the screen nonstop. PvP is unplayable at this point, as I immediately have the minimum connection bar, and it is lag hell.

    All 3 devices are connected to the same Wifi. Hard wiring isn't an option for me right now. I've gone into the settings and tested the connection in all available ways, NAT is open, and Xbox says I should have no issues with multiplayer gameplay. I've reset the cache in both ways (blu ray settings and unplugging console), and it has made no difference. I don't understand how my PS4 and Stadia both run flawlessly, and the same game is virtually unplayable on my XBox. Also when in a party, the audio lags and cuts out every other word, but no one else has that problem. Help?

    Controller left-stick continues to move up/down when I’m not pressing it. Right/left do not have this problem.

    Xbox black screen flicker

    Before I say anything, here are the things I tried:

    turning on 4:2:2

    Reading the TV's manual and changing every setting to perfectly match it

    Trying other TV's

    Turning off 4k and hdr 10

    Trying a different port

    Trying another tv

    Trying another 4k capable HDMI cable

    Trying 720p

    Unplugging my tv and Xbox for 2 hours

    Updating my firmware

    I turned on and off the mode for "UHD" and everything else

    And probably much, much more that I can't even name anymore

    Problem: My tv is a vizio m55-e0, and randomly my Xbox will flicker to black. The severity could be anywhere from 3 seconds, to about 15 minutes, and time between flickers also vary. My TV is not turning off, because it will eventually say that it is detecting nothing. I've had this problem for nearly a year. I can't send my console back to microsoft, because it is out of warranty. I don't know what to do, but if you do please help me. If the solution comes to me, I will edit this thread to include it.

    Does anyone else have a crap Elite 2 Controller?

    TLDR: Elite 2 controller has glaring problems. Should I return for a replacement or refund and buy a regular XBox Controller.

    I bought the Elite 2 controller to use for my PC and I am amazed that this $200 device is as problematic as it is. The face buttons have a habit of ignoring my input unless I apply good pressure or click them dead on. And since connecting via bluetooth they are also surprisingly laggy, getting random spikes frequently. To make sure I wasnt crazy I connected my old DS4 (also via Bluetooth) I was using prior and it has literally none of these problems, so I know its the new controller and not something else.

    Question is, is it worth asking for a replacement? Or is this common for this controller? I'm thinking about just returning it and buying a standard XBox One controller and hoping that won't have all these issues but I was hoping for clarification first.

    It's a damn shame because everything else about this controller is absolutely phenomenal. The build, feel, aesthetic, the weight. Even the way all the buttons and inputs click and respond is incredible. It's just very frustrating that it has some glaring problems, which for a controller this expensive, is unacceptable.

    My dad gave me this TV, and I noticed that most of the screen was cut off. I went into the tv settings to change it, and they were blurred out. But when I go to a, lets say, different HDMI, they arent blurred out. I dont know if its my xbox or my tv but is there a way to fix this?

    Hey, I don't go to this sub and I don't even play console games or much games in general because I'm poor and the genres I like are kinda dead these days and my values have changed where I'm not the Xbox demographic.

    But I decided to post here because I was feeling nostalgic about the OG Xbox and how good that experience was compared to the competition. It was the last time one console was clearly more capable, maps were bigger, Microsoft made it easy for PC devs to port, it was attractive to smaller devs, it got Dreamcast and Chihiro Ports, the graphics were so good, it felt like it was Gen 6.5, it had the best version of the best football game ever made (ESPN NFL2k5) and I don't even like football games, that's how good it was, you could rip CDs to your built in hard drive and play them in GTA, the machine was pretty much the "Xbox One" of it's day, the all-in-one media center with it's DVD playback and there's people that did homebrew to it and Microsoft implemented some features the homebrew community added like the ability to install your game to your hard drive for shorter load times, some of the racing games recorded ghost races.

    The system felt like you bought the future early and newer consoles don't have that feeling, I guess with the Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro is like a gen 8.5, but those consoles feel like they're (for a lack of a better word) a cartel these days, they're pretty much the same with marginal trade-offs and I know there's they're "they're both PCs because they're x86", but the OG Xbox wasn't the first x86 console, that honor goes to the Bandai Wonderswan a IA-16 Architecture system that used an NEC V30 and the graphics looked nothing like EGA DOS games. Also, there is special glue logic in the 9th gen consoles that I wish my PC had, but they both have the same features with a different brand and only having marginal tradeoffs that were less marginal in the 7th gen.

    I just wish the OG Xbox was more popular in Japan and that would have had a halo effect for the 360, but since the PS3 had a bad first 5 years in the west for being too expensive, Japanese games dwindled in popularity in the west.

    When I press A or B Button on 360 controller, PC acts like I pressed both A and B.

    Thus if I press B, the game acts like I pressed A and B at the same time; same goes for if I press A.

    Plz help. I'm hoping it is not an issue with the controller itself, like being old or something.

    Xbox game pass ultimate?

    If I buy xbox game pass ultimate and already have xbox live gold and have just paid £50 for a yearly subscription for it can I cancel the game pass ultimate after a month without it cancelling my xbox live?
