    Controller won’t pair. I’ve tried holding both pair buttons down, holding only the controllers pair button, and holding down only the consoles pair button.

    This year its Xbox360's 15th birthday.. If I would have payed full price every year, it would have cost me €900 in Gold membership to play online all these years. Do you reckon Microsoft will appreciate us old school players at some point and stop making Gold a requirement for the Xbox360 to go online?

    Loud PSU? (Xbox 360 S)

    My PSU is quiet when on the home screen and in menus but during gameplay it makes a humming noise. It's not really audible over gameplay but at night when I have the volume off it's quite noticeable. I've cleaned out the fan and greased the bearing but it's still making this noise. Am I just paranoid or is there something wrong with it?

    I don't have a 1280x1024 LCD monitor to test it out, but I was wondering is the whole screen used or is it letterboxed 1280x960; like how 16:10 resolutions show 16:9 letterboxed?

    Is it normal for the controller to not have start/select text?

    I bought a 360 without a controller a while back and I'm looking to buy one now. I found this one but it looks like the text has worn off.

    Is it an official controller? And does it look like something that would happen? Pretty new to Xbox so thank you.

    What is the difference between downloaded and installed?

    I have updates for a game and some say "downloaded" while others say "installed." How do I get the downloaded ones to install? It won't let me play the games until they are all installed.

    I googled it but couldn't find anything.
