Issues buying Battlefront 2 (2005 version)

Hello, first-time poster here. I'm trying to buy the 2005 version of Battlefront 2 for my Xbox 360, purchasing it off of the xbox marketplace website. I purchase the game, and I am taken to a screen with a seemingly-neverending loading icon and the words "This transaction is encrypted) Can I do anything to actually get the game onto my Xbox?

How to turn an offline account into an Xbox Live one?

Hello! I'm trying to set up an Xbox Live account for my nephew on our 360, and he already has an offline account on there that obviously has game saves and gamerscore and stuff he probably doesn't want to lose.

I remember doing this years ago for myself, my Dad, and my sister, converting our offlines to onlines, but it's been probably like, 6-8 years since I last had to do that, so any help is appreciated!

I grew up on PlayStation and PS2. I really only like single player games except I guess on pc. But when 2007 was around and Xbox 360 was still cheaper and had Dead Rising... Well i decided to jump on the bandwagon my friend did a year prior. I mean it was a 100$cheaper. Probably the same reason the ps4 curbstomped xbox one early on (though Xbox one has improved). I spent most of my time without gold until they started doing games with gold and loved every minute of playing it. Who has similar stories?

Faulty disc drive - worth repairing to trade in console?

Hey folks,

My 360 has a problem that prevented me trading it in today. The disc drive won't open when you use the button on the console. You can hear it trying, it clicks and hums, but after a few seconds it just stops and registers as closed. Weird thing is, it works when I tell the console to open it by itself from the home screen (at least some of the time).

My question is, and let me know if I should ask this somewhere else - is it worth investing time/money into repairing it in order to trade the console in, or should I just scrap it? The guy at the store said they would give me $20 for it if I could get the drive working. They still took my controllers, games and network adapter so it wasn't a total bust.
