My current gold plan expires on March 25, and I'm wondering what'll happen if I add 3 months onto it (so it expires on June 25, in the summer), and get the $1 deal now so I can have game pass ultimate until then. | Posted: 12 Jan 2020 09:51 AM PST SO a friend of mine is having a hard time with her Xbox One S right now and honestly, I feel for her. She went to buy sims Pets, thinking it was the full game, not just the add one. With its price and how small the pint is I can see why she thought that since she never looked into SIms before. The thing is, she didn't own the base game so the DLC was useless to her. She has only used Steam a few times before, but on there site, It's extremely easy to tell what's DLC and even if you don't it work let you buy DLC for yourself without stopping you to tell you that you do not own the base game. Xbox didn't do this. She was abler to buy the DLC with no questions asked and only found out after it was DLC that she can't use it at all. That DLC isn't cheap either. I pushed her to try and get a refund for it since they shouldn't have at least had a warning pop up that it was DLC and she didn't own the base game. She has some social anxiety so this stuff isn't easy for her. So I helped her write up the complaint email. The next day she couldn't find any complaint or help center to send it to. She did find live chat and tried that. She got a bot. An unless bot that wanted to charge her more money just to talk to a real person! At this point, she's really worked up and her anxiety about being charged more money is acting up bad. Please douse anyone have any advice on how she can get a refund for this game without spending more money? I told her to try calling them but she's really scared they will track her phone back to her billing and charge her for that as well. I don't know much about Xbox person, so I thought I would come here to please ask for some advice for her on how to move forward. [link] [comments] | ||

I then try to sign into my account (Which btw the gamer pic is greyed) and says i need to re download using xbox live. I download my profile and it always freezes on "Downloading your game info.". | Posted: 12 Jan 2020 10:16 AM PST We already have "Free Play Days" which allows you to play a game for a few days and then takes away the ability to play that game after a set time. The store already has a function to do this with Movies & Tv Shows. So why not take it one step further and allow us the ability to rent any game on the store? Would only require an extra button next to "Buy" in the store and the same functionality of removing the ability to play the game after a set rental period. Just like how "Free Play Days" work. I know the counter to my argument will be "game pass". But there is no reason the two can't exist together. Game Pass is a Flat Rate service. Game Rental would be pay as you go.Just like the old days of going to the video store and renting a game (or Sega Megadrive 😀). It also allows people to try before they buy. I bought many a game back in the day this way. It would give people another good reason to play Xbox instead of PlayStation and work towards Microsoft being the Netflix of gaming. | Help taking X1 controller apart Posted: 12 Jan 2020 01:03 PM PST I'm trying to take it it apart so I can paint the front and back played different colors but Two I'd the screws will not come out. I have a Third set and I have seen YT videos on what screws to take out and only 2 came out. The other two simply will not accept my bits. Doesn't matter what size, they will not go into the screws. I don't understand. You're supposed to use the Torx T6 bit but that didn't work on any of them. The T8 worked on 2. My wife started to play a game (minecraft) split screen on my account which "owns" the game. It's cross platform so I bought it on another platform- but whenever my wife logs into her account on Xbox it says we don't own the game (we have to log into my Xbox account) is there a way to fix this?
