| The new Report System is really silly, overblown and worse to use than the old one Posted: 05 Jan 2020 10:45 AM PST I'm trying to report someone for Unsportsmanlike Conduct when they're TK'ing or being a jackass, not because they're in the middle of threatening someone or committing a crime. The more serious, IRL-type issues should be sectioned off into their own menu, and not involved with the more typical harassment/unsportsmanlike/behavior-type reports which are going to be 99% of reports. EDIT: For those saying "That isn't what the system is for"; that is part of what the Reporting System has been for literally since it came out - in fact it used to be one of it's primary functions. In addition, if not intended for use for that, why would they include the option at all? EDIT 2: To further clarify; the new system technically still lets you report people like it did before, but it buries the relevant and useful reporting functions in and under the extreme and barely usable reporting functions - you can report someone for "Unsportsmanlike Conduct" for example, but instead of something sane like "Quitting Early" or "Teamkilling" being your first options, it presents insane stuff like "Threats of Terrorism" instead. And finding the Cheating/Exploiting options is also tedious and not well-laid out etc. Useful and relevant options should be first and foremost on the list - the Emergency/Extreme options should be the ones that take more effort. After a while atmos will actually turn off Nd it defaults to sonic. Is anyone else having similar issues? [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 05 Jan 2020 09:19 PM PST I was about to play a game with my friends and all of the sudden my game crashed. I figured it was just like the other times games crash so I did what I always do, a hard reset on my xbox (holding the power button down and waiting a few minutes to turn it back on). When I turned it back on it was at the XBOX ONE green screen for a while. Now I guess its on and all I have is a black screen. I can still pull up the menu to turn my xbox off or restart it along with the option to turn my controller off. Other than that I can't navigate anywhere because all I have is a black screen. Posted: 05 Jan 2020 10:00 PM PST I recently downloaded the Halo MCC for xbox and was playing with my freinds online when i noticed that in the 'My Files' under options that there are temporary files under 'Films' that will say "Created by:" and then the author [me] appears in random lettering from other languages(most notably in chinese, russian, and the special character ï)... I assume the lettering is supposed to be my gamertag, but i do not know why it would be in random lettering to begin with... Has anyone else experinced this before?
