    Hi all. I would like to start a discussion regarding controllers.

    With the latest announcement of the Series X and the "new controller", I can't help but notice the lack of anything interesting on the Series X, and wonder why would I get a console like that. In spite of loving to play with a controller, I've been playing on PC mostly for the ability to customize, the game library and convenience. I've discovered and loved the Steam Controller for the innovations that enhanced my gaming experience a hundredfold: touchpad, paddles, gyro, dual stage triggers, in this order.
    Nintendo is exploring gyro aiming with shooters on Switch such as Splatoon 2, Breath of the Wild, Doom, Wolfenstein and Overwatch, and is receiving a positive response. PC players with controllers (SC / DS4) have been using gyro aiming as well. Gyro allows controller users to match KB/M users without the use of intrusive aim assist.
    I was pretty excited to see the Elite Controller adding paddles. Even though they can only be mapped to face buttons, I was hoping that would hint at the future generation controller design.

    But alas no. This new controller looks bland and uninteresting. Gyro aiming is definitely something that takes time to get used to: that's why it's always implemented as an option. But having it enables the industry to explore new spaces and innovate. What do you XBox users think? Are you happy with more of the same, or would you rather see innovations make its way to the next generation?

    Can anybody compare the Xbox series x to the original Xbox one?

    Xbox and Pc Game Saves

    I finished Forza Horizon 4 on my Xbox and I wanted to replay it on the PC and once I created a new game on my PC when I wanted to go back to my Xbox Forza Horizon 4 it would sync with my Pc data. Is there a way that I can get my old data back onto the Xbox Savegame and have it separate from the save on my PC?

    [Question] With the acquired studios what kind of new games would you like to see them do?

    Personally I'd love to see a

    Third Person Action Adventure Ninja Gaiden-esque game exploring a feudal Japan having a similar save system from NG II.

    Third Person Steampunk Shooter Adventure RPG across the United States almost with a Red Dead Redemption vibe, but with steampunk tech.

    Third Person Action Adventure RPG set in the past during the Aztec Empire with fantasy aspects. Thinking like your character has some blood power and you fight Aztec mythological characters or inspired by them. Feathered reptile like Quetzlcoatl and really just go nuts with the lore.

    Third Person Action Adventure RPG set in Egypt in the past and like with the above one fantasy aspects. Fighting the Egyptian gods and you having some special power and unlock more.

    While Titus: Ryse of Rome wasn't well received it was certainly different from other Xbox exclusives actually taking in place in Rome. So I figured why not explore other cultures and give gamers from the regions something close to home. Of course I think they should work with people in those regions to get an approved version close to the mythos.

    These would go to Japan, America, Central America, and Egypt. Hellblade has the Norse side of Europe covered. If we add another I'd love to see something exploring Celtic mythology in Ireland. Something in the Middle East maybe about the flying cities described in the Mahabharata. Other countries and regions to explore. But this is a nice start towards more diverse games that aren't shooters and for other cultures.

    XBOX PC GAMES PASS SAVED FILES NEEDED OFF OLD HARD DRIVE

    Long story short, I just built a PC from the ground up and need to retrieve my saved game files for a few games off of my old hard drive.

    Does anyone have a walk through on how to do this? There's so many folder and sub-folders to sift through.

    Spamming invitations

    I don't know why this is a thing but when people spam you with like tons of invites they just keep playing one after another even after you block the person. This is pretty frustrating especially because it won't let you use the big X button because it will just pull up the invites.

    I need help picking a Christmas gift, please

    I want to get a gift for my daughter's 17 year old boyfriend from our family. I know he plays a lot of Xbox. Is an Xbox gift card something that works on whatever type of Xbox he has? I don't know anything about the system. Would it allow him to buy games online, or is an Xbox gift card not useful and I should get him one for a gaming store instead.     Xbox: 'My Games & Apps' & 'Manage game' screens go black after a few seconds

    I recently got a new Xbox One X and had been installing games and dlc's on it when suddenly I ran into a problem. When I would try to access the 'My Games & Apps' screen, it would show for a second or two, then go blank. I can push the Xbox button on the controller to bring up the menu that will let me return to the home screen. The same thing happens when I try to 'Manage game' from a game. I tried removing and re-adding profile, power cycling, factory resetting without any improvement. My son has the original Xbox One and I tried my profile on his console and had the exact same problem. His profile works fine on both consoles. I was on tech support chat for over an hour trying to solve the problem, but they weren't able to help either. Has anyone else encountered this?

    Game Pass Ultimate Questions

    I had Game Pass since June.. July, some time mid year. I ended up using the offer for 3 months of game pass for a dollar. My subscription ended the 12th of December, I bought a 3 month card and upgraded for a dollar to get 6 months. With all that out of the way

    1) If I were to buy a year of gold and then pay the $15 premium for GPU( Game Pass Ultimate) would all that convert to 1 year of Ultimate?
    2) If I don't then will that convert to 4 months of Ultimate as shown on their transference chart?
    3) Since I don't have GPU currently active, and have bought Halo MCC previously, and had Reach installed at the time, will I still be able to play it?
    4) Is there even still possible for me to get promotions to upgrade/get Game Pass in the future?

    Wondering where my files for xbox gamepass files would be located for xbox gamepass on pc

    Hi, I really wanted to look at some of the 3d models in halo reach but the problem is that for some reason I couldn't find out where the files are. I play on the xbox gamepass for pc version of the game but for some reason I can't find the files on my pc or an answer online. If someone knows the answer to this please let me know.

    Microsoft Controller for PC, which version?

    Hi,

    I want to replace my current controller (latest version of the Nvidia shield gamepad) as I am having a lot of problems making it work properly with games (sometimes unresponsive, sometime lags, sometimes buttons are not mapped correctly, etc...).

    So I was thinking to get the microsoft controller as it should be the best for compatibility with windows (I suppose).

    I am currently following an auction for a "like new" elite controller 2...but i am reading about a lot of hardware problems...so I might go just for the standard version and save money.

    but I am confused about few things and I hope you can help me.

    I want to buy the revised version (the one with bluetooth) with also the cable included.

    Minecraft help

    So I found out I'll be getting an Xbox One S for Christmas, and been on PS4. My question is because of cross play I'm wondering if there is any way to take my ps4 Minecraft world and use it on Xbox to still be able to play with my PS4 friends?

    So as well all know, you can set your online status to either online, appear offline, or do not disturb. But my suggestion is for a 4th option! The "I'm depressed please invite me to a party" option. Please consider all the people this could help! Like... most of us!
