    To celebrate Jurassic World Evolution being added to Games With Gold, the VERY generous folks over at Frontier Developments have given us the chance to hand out YET ANOTHER one of the coolest things we have ever given away on this subreddit; A custom-made, Jurassic World Evolution themed Xbox One X console. This will be the second time we have been blessed enough to give one of these away here.

    As before: This bad boy is an ultra-rare special edition that will never be available for sale commercially. A true collector's item that any Jurassic fan needs in their life.

    Enough talk! How do I make it mine?!

    1. Give us your delicious fanfiction. You are to continue the story of the original Jurassic Park by writing an alternate ending! Details below...
    2. Submit your fanfic in this thread as a top-level comment, not a reply to another comment.
    3. A winner will be chosen at random from the eligible entries. Even if you have no "talent" for writing, you still have a chance to win.

    The Setup:

    Let's pretend, for a moment, that the true ending started at 0:45 in this video. A sweaty, beaten, sultry Jeff Goldblum looks back towards the island. His eyes smouldering as he sees... what?

    Give us your version straight out of an /r/WritingPrompt comment section with this jumping point! Entries may or may not be given bonus points for including more Jeff (they won't).

    Nitty Gritty:

    • Frontier has been generous enough to throw in a few codes for their newest DLC! These will be awarded to the winners of the "Mod Pick" for our favourite stories. Make us laugh.
    • ENTRIES CLOSE 30TH DECEMBER 2019 (2 Weeks from now)
    • Your fanfic must be in English
    • Fanfics that violate the subreddit's rules will be removed and their posters reprimanded.
    • Your fanfic must actually be a story. Single sentences and gibberish are not acceptable entries.
    • The prize is generously provided by Frontier Developments. The moderation team is not responsible beyond picking the winner.
    • The contest is open only to people in the US/UK & Europe.
    • Members of the mod team and their family members are excluded from the competition - Which totally sucks and is super unfair and we aren't salty or anything.

    With all the talk about how fast the internal SSD on the Series will be, does that mean the internal will out-perform all current external HDD/SSD drives?

    Working alternatives to Xbox File Explorer?

    I'd like the ability to transfer Minecraft Xbox worlds to PC and vice versa. Unfortunately, Microsoft fucked up and removed File Explorer; a basic feature of their system. I've tried using Files&Folders, but it doesn't let me access game saves and UFO.Transfer seems to only work with the default File Explorer.

    I know it's possible to use Realms, but I shouldn't have to pay to literally just transfer files between two systems I own. If anyone knows another method to transfer game saves, I'd appreciate it.

    I got 2 codes! One for 14 days of game pass, and one for 14 days of Xbox live gold. My advice to anyone buying a Xbox for someone this Christmas, if you win just hold on to the code until Christmas morning for whoever you're getting it for! Speaking of which, Merry Christmas everyone! ⛄🎄🎅🎁😁

    Blair witch achievements issue?

    I played around an hour before realizing i hadn't had a single achievement pop. "pet the dog" for example i'd done repeatedly already. Quitting the game, loading my save and pet good ole' bullet it popped.... Am i gunna have to restart to grab the achievements i should've gotten already? If so that's super irritating.

    Possible to order additional loose sticks for the Elite Controller series 2? Missing having 2 convex ones

    I have an Xbox One Elite Controller (series 1), and with it came 2 convex (round, upwards) sticks to use on the controller.

    Much to my dismay, when I got the series 2 unit, it only had 1 of those. Does anyone know if it is possible to order a second one, and if so, where/how to do it?

    And yes, I did try the ones that came with the series 1 controller but they do not match the new controller.
