    Xbox storage problem

    I needed some storage for some games so I uninstalled bfV which takes up 80 gigs but after I uninstalled it no space was cleared up it still showed i had the same amount spare. Any ideas how to fix it or what happened?

    I wanted to play Cold War but i had to update it. So I did and it said installation stopped, again and again. so i uninstalled and tried installing again but it keeps saying the same thing. How do I fix this? How can I play Cold War again?

    Xbox Game Bar Party Issues

    Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but, I was wondering if anyone here has this frustrating issue with Xbox game bar and the companion app for Win10...

    When I get party chat invites on PC, it pops up one single time. If I don't press the Win+G when it's sent, it will disappear forever. I can't recover the invite on game bar or the app anywhere if I was AFK. So I need to ask for another. There also seems to be an infuriating lack of a "join party" button when looking at a friend's profile, even when their party is set to open. Only way I've been able to combat this is to make my OWN party and invite eeeeveryone that was in the original. Any solutions guys? Is this a bug or just a really bad implementation of the party system on PC?

    MyTube app

    Hi, i recently discovered this app, and it's promise to enable me to listen to youtube videos in the background, it's pretty good but there's something that bothers me immensely and i suspect i might be able to change it with some tweaks. Whenever i leave the app, and open a game, the playback controls on the xbox menu are grayed out, i can only pause/play. If i want to skip to another video or go back, i need to open the app again. I notice this doesn't happen with the option "Use the official YouTube web player". However, the playback stops completely shortly after i open something else. Anyone knows if i can even fix this, or is it just like that?

    What's the best way to mute/unmute a gaming headset?

    My old Xbox chat headset's foam started disintegrating in my ear, and I thought I'd use this opportunity to upgrade my setup to a full gaming headset. I actually still work with a first-generation Xbox One controller and just learned that new controllers have a 3.5mm port, so a headset can plug right in. That's a neat feature. However, if you use that 3.5mm jack, you no longer have a convenient button to mute/unmute your microphone on your controller. I was told there was an adapter, and I thought, oh, this is cool whether or not I get a new controller because then I could keep a mute button on the controller. Unfortunately, it appears Microsoft discontinued these adapters. It looks like they used to sell them for $25 and an ambitious seller on Amazon is currently trying to sell one for $60. No thanks.

    What's the best muting mechanism that keeps your hands on your controller?

    I find it hard to believe that I'm the only gamer who likes to mute/unmute regularly during a game, and finds it annoying and inconvenient when I have to take a hand off the controller and fumble around to mute/unmute during a competitive match. I also find it amusing that Microsoft added a share button to the controller, but apparently never thought of a mute button despite trying to sell their new wireless headsets.

    As a side story, funny enough, this is deja vu with the Xbox 360. The first generation headsets came with a mute switch right on the part that plugged into the controller, and then Microsoft in all their wisdom decided to move the mute switch onto the cord which is nearly impossible to find and toggle when in the middle of the game. Some things never change.

    Help with controllers not connecting

    So I have the old fat xbox one been with me for quite a while going strong. Recently however don't know whether it is because we have moved the position of the console closer to the router or what but the controllers seem to struggle to stay connected especially if using both at the same time. Anyone have any ideas could it be the WiFi router or is the console on its way out?

    Is it fine to leave my turned off xbox upstairs while the AC is broken?

    Temperature upstairs is currently 83 degrees but it should be back to normal in a couple hours or so. Do I need to unplug my Xbox and bring it downstairs until then or is it fine staying upstairs?
