Xbox Jasper DVD doesn't read

So, My DVD drive spin and tries to read when there's nothing in it, I can hear it, but if I put a DVD inside it closes the tray and everything but I can't even hear it spin or do anything. The dashboard simply goes back to "Open Tray" Anyone know how I can fix it?

I need to change an email on an old 360 account, the current email that is in use is disabled and was my fathers so neither of us can use it I would very much like to recover my account so I can maybe transfer stuff to the one or at least play online
