    Does using the Xbox Series X with a 1080p resolution TV make the games run better?

    In order to have your console output 4k visuals, you have to change the display settings on your Xbox. Therefore, the system has to help render the game in actual 4k, which can't be that easy to do. If you have an Xbox Series X, but say, a 1080p 120hz TV, will the games run more stable?

    I'm asking this because at this point, I'm cool with dropping ~$500 for a new console, not so much ~$800+ on a new TV when nothings wrong with mine.

    Can someone help me adjust my audio setting so that I can hear my party and the game well at the same time?

    I am using the Razer Blackshark V2 headset, and I find it difficult to get the right settings so that I can hear my party without turning my game volume all the way down.

    Here are my current settings:

    Razer Blackshark V2 Headset:

    • Built-in headset volume controller: Max

    All settings in Settings -> General -> Volume & audio output:

    • Chat mixer: Do nothing
    • Party chat output: Headset
    • Headset format: Windows Sonic for Headphones
    • Using HDMI or optical audio headset: Off

    Audio mixer settings:

    • Headset volume: 2 steps from max
    • Headset chat mixer: Right in the middle
    • Mic monitoring: Max

    I also have a few questions:

    • How should I adjust my headset's volume? Should I put my headset's physical volume adjuster to max and change the volume from Xbox's Headset volume audio mixer setting?
    • If a game is too loud, should I adjust my headset's volume or should I adjust the game's audio?
    • Should I do anything with the chat mixer settings? It appears to turn down the game's volume when someone is speaking, but that doesn't sound like it is a good idea since some people's mics transmits audio even though there is nobody speaking.

    This may all seem stupid to some people, but I genuinely find it difficult to find the right audio setting that works for me. If you don't know what I should personally do with my settings, I'll be more than happy if you told me what works for you so that I can give it a shot.

    Does anybody know what I can do to hear my party and my game at the same time better? Do you guys have any tips for adjusting the volume? I'll be happy to try anything, I just want to be able to hear clearly.

    I can turn off my controller

    I connected an xbox series x controller to my pc and i cant turn it off. However long i hold down the middle button even 2 minutes wony close. Help.

    Xbox One Wireless Controller won't connect to Windows 10 wireless adapter

    As stated in the title, my XONE controller doesn't connect to the Wireless adapter on my Pc. I've tried all troubleshooting tips available online and even had a chat with the support multiple times, to no avail. I have updated Windows, reinstalled the adapter drivers, even restarted my system to factory settings. Any help appreciated (BTW the controller works if plugged in via USB)

    How to install bought Add - ons in GPfPC?

    Hello everyone,

    I am using the Gamepass for PC (GPfPC). 2 years ago I bought an game with many add ons in the Xbox store on the console. Now I can install the game itself but not the add ons, which are there too. I have to rebuy them. Is there any chance to get them back on PC or is it only for console? The game is TSW 2020.

    My Xbox One S Controller hace a weird drift one Left Stick only on Kingdom Hearts 3, Lego Ninjago Movie Game, Doom Eternal and many other games but on home menu and game pass games works normally...

    Who's is better option? Series X/S Controller or another One S Controller?

    The Series X Controllers works and get updates normally on Xbox One Console?

    Xbox elite 2 on pc

    I have an Xbox elite 2 but don't have the usb c cable (lost most likely) and am trying to connect it using Bluetooth to my pc. It connected fine but when I go onto fortnite it any other game for that matter. It doesn't work/recognise the controller. How do I fix that.

    Game Bar not recognizing Chrome in 2021; did in 2020; please read the "fixes" I tried

    Hi all,

    I'm not a gamer, so please excuse me if I use clueless language. Also, if there is a better subreddit for this, feel free to direct me there.

    Anyway, since the pandemic started, I have been using Xbox Game Bar to record myself using Chrome or other browsers to demonstrate for my students how to use library databases, etc. This worked well into the winter of 2020.

    Now, it's spring 2021, and I can't get Game Bar to recognize and record Chrome or other browsers on any of my 3 computers.

    When I say "I can't get it to work," I mean that I can open up the Game Bar menu and widges, but then when I click on "capture," the button is greyed out and a window pops up telling me that it can't record my Desktop or File Explorer--it doesn't say anything about not being able to record my browser, even though I *always* have the browser open. So, essentially, it's acting as if it can't see my browsers. This happens if the browser window maximized or not.

    I Googled the problem, and tried the following:

    1.) opening Game Bar, THEN clicking on its settings, & clicking "remember this is a game"--didn't work.

    2.) searching for Game Bar on Cortana, clicking on its App Settings, & clicking Repair--didn't work.

    3.) searching for Game Bar on Cortana, clicking on its App Settings, & clicking Reset--didn't work.

    4.) searching for "game mode settings" on Cortana, clicking on "game bar settings," and making sure that "recording games using game bar" is switched on--didn't work.

    So, all that said, I wanna know, has anyone else encountered a similar situation, and how did you resolve it? Or, is it an "update" to Game Bar that took place because the pandemic has driven everyone even more online and folks were complaining about getting recorded? If so, is this an update that can be rolled back somehow?

    Xbox wireless headset no audio

    Hi! I just bought the xbox wireless headset but can't get any audio out of it. It's paired to my xsx (the little button is glowing and I can start the console with the headset) and I've done the firmware update. Im running version 0.0.9.0 of the headset. Anyone knows what's causing the issue?

    Has anyone had a problem getting their rewards redeemed? I worked my way to the 32500 point reward and redeemed it, but a week later, I still haven't gotten an email from Xbox about it. Anybody else have this issue?

    Numbers appear after a new gamertag that I want, but only on my second account

    I want to switch my second account name, but I don't want it to have "#9876" or any other numbers after it. Xbox allows me to change my main account to the gamertag that I want without any numbers, but it doesn't let me on my second account. I searched up the gamertag that I want on both accounts to see if it was taken, and I couldn't find anyone with the name. What should I do to get the gamertag on my second account?

    PC gamebar capturing my friends voices in Xbox live party but not mine?

    When I capture a clip the Gamebar is capturing all my friends voices but not mine. It captures my voice in the game chat but not off of party chat.
