    It has been able to find both that I usually use, and connect to both. Today it disconnected and only one shows up, it can't find the other, and the one I'm trying says IP address error. What is this fucking bullshit?

    Finally found a working 360 wireless controller. All others I tried had either drift or sticky buttons.

    Can't download my account to my 360! Get this error code. I've reset my password, cleared system cache, EVERYTHING. no luck.

    The new Xbox app finally fixed the appearance of non-BC 360 games on achievement list. They look much better now. Left is the old PC Xbox app, right is the new mobile Xbox app.

    I do enjoy arcade racers and racing games that are more fun than realistic but I don't like realistic racing games

    Hi there,

    I am owning my 360 slim since 2009 (first self bought console ever). As there are plenty not backwards compatible games I want to make sure my Xbox will stay alive for a long time.

    Cleaning the inside is obvious. I heard some people talking about renewing the thermal paste. Is this necessary? Is there anything else I can do?

    I'm kinda paranoia about this topic, so I'm really looking forward hearing some advice from you

    Controller blinks twice and shuts off

    Hi. I'm having a lot of trouble finding information about this. For context, the controller has not been used in years and was last used with an xbox 360 console. I'm now trying to use it with my pc. The batteries are completely fine as they work in another 360 controller I have. I've opened the controller up and I don't see anything weird, and every guide I see tells me to reset the controller with a 360 console but I no longer have an xbox 360. Is there anything I can do or is this controller just useless until I find a 360 to fix it with?

    Please help!! Forza Motorsport 4 keeps freezing!! Any help is appreciated!!

    Hey guys, so I love racing games and so i remembered I had forza motorsport 4 for my old xbox 360. I set it up and put in the disc and it all works well - it goes through all the loading screens, but after it displays a dolby digital animation my xbox freezes and i have to turn it off and then back on. I really love this game and would hate to not be able to play it. If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it!

    Xbox 360 internet connection failing how to fix

    When I connect to my wifi and click test connection it gives me a dns error. I tried all the suggestions and none of them worked, I tried the xbox support page and tried all the fixes and none of them worked including switching on and off my router and modem and changing the dns from auto to manual but nothing worked, any suggestions would help alot and any question I will answer it within a day. It is a xbox 360 e btw...

    Building the perfect collection

    Looking for advise on games you think I should pick up, based on my interests.

    I bought my 360 one and a half year ago. I won't bore you with all the details, but through a number of free pick-ups, timely acquisitions and selling off unwanted equipment (turds like the Olympic games, redundant sport titles, Kane and Lynch etc and also some doubles), I've ended up with the game collection shown in the pictures. My latest purchase was Skyrim. Getting the legendary edition was a pain, because there haven't been many around on the market where I live, so very pleased with that one.

    I play on a slim (sporting a 250G HDD) and have also managed to get a racing wheel (a proper one, not that U-crap) and an adapter so I can use the controllers (gotta love them 360 controllers!) with my PC. In total, I've paid around 70 euros.

    When I now look at my collection, it feels almost perfect. I look forward to play pretty much every game in it and I've been happy with the games I have had time to play. I obviously don't know all the 360 games, but there aren't many I'm longing for. Let's go through the different genres.

    ​

    Sports

    I'm not huge into sports games, but I like them and these are basically the sports I'm interested in. I've played Amped 2 for the original xbox, so a snowboard game could be worth adding. I'm not super tempted by what I've seen of Amped 3 though and I never got into SSX on the original xbox (but maybe I should have given it more time?).

    Racing

    I'm just a casual gamer, but generally like racing games. I've played through NFS Hot Puruit and had a great time with it. I've also played through Dirt. Also liked it, but not as much (I thought the controls were a bit slippery and the difficulty was a bit inconsistent, which led to some frustrating challenges, while others were a breeze). I know there are a ton of racing games for the 360, but not sure if I'm missing out on anything glaring. Maybe Midnight Club (loved 2 for the original xbox) or another NFS game (but which one?) would be a nice addition?

    FPS

    I play FPSes from time to time, but don't want to overdo them in my collection either. Maybe a few more CoD games could be worth adding? Or do you have other suggestions?

    Open world/Adventure

    I love the Rockstar games (btw, LCS is hiding in in the GTA 4 jacket, so that one is already checked off). I wouldn't mind the other Batman games, but my library has them and I'll probably end up borrowing them. Same with AC Revelations. I didn't like AC1, liked AC2 a bit more, but then really enjoyed Brotherhood. Now I need to finish the Ezio trilogy, but most likely by borrowing the game from my library. The Lego game is just there in case I have visitors and their kid needs some distraction. Other than that, not sure I'm missing much or do you see possibilities for nice additions? Lost planet maybe?

    Other

    I have no interest in kinect, rhythm, turn-based or horror games, so those genres are missing in my collection. I'm also only playing single-player (occasionally co-op), so games whose strong points are multiplayer don't have the same appeal to me.

    I am however thinking it would be nice with some flight game. In general, there aren't a lot of them up for sale where I live and I know not all of them are great either. I have my eyes on Ace Combat 6, but the sellers I've seen have had unrealistic expectations of the value of 360 games so I'm passing for now.

    So what do you say, anything you can recommend me to keep an eye out for to add to the collection?
