    Hello, XBox One people!

    I want to give you some information before you hop into Star Wars Squadrons, coming to EA Play on March 18.

    This game is insanely fun, but it has a significant learning curve. I suggest you fly a few missions in Single Player before you jump into Multi Player Dogfight (DF) or Fleet Battle (FB). This is just to get a few mechanics down. I raise awareness because some of the lessons you'll learn will assist you immensely if you decide you want to focus on MP.

    This game is primarily a team (squadron) game and is way more enjoyable when played with friends. There are pitfalls to queuing solo and also with a group, so to alleviate some stress, I'm going to direct you to a handful of places that will assist your entry into the game.

    First and foremost, if you don't already have friends playing the game, find friends to play the game with. The more people you play with, the better your learning experience will be in the game. You can go to the Star Wars Squadrons Reddit, or specifically search for the Wingman Wednesday thread to find groups to play with; the Reddit also has a dedicated Discord Server.

    Additionally, there is RDT2's Spreadsheet of Discord Servers that will give you a list of most of the Discord servers that the community uses.

    If you're excited about spending more time in the game and getting more familiar with some tactics and abilities, there are a handful of training options available. On YouTube you can find Fencar's flying videos where he explains mechanics from basic to experienced. Additionally, you can also find the Krayt Squadrons Academy to get more 1-on-1 or even squad training.

    Finally, on behalf of the Star Wars Squadrons community, I want to welcome any new pilots coming into the game on EA Play. Or, if you have the game and decided to stop playing, maybe the above resources can give you an incentive to give the game another shot. The galaxy is always looking for more pilots.

    Curious why not more people are playing through the campaign on this. Started and finished it today, and basically every achievement is a rare one, even the one for finishing like the first chapter. The game looks gorgeous on the Series X too. What's everyones thoughts on it?

    I hope Xbox supports these 15 languages and more on their current and upcoming first party games as well in the future. I do really think that supporting additional languages for countries whose English is not their first language will significantly increase player bases and gamepass users.

    Anyway, thank you Xbox for additional language subtitles for not only the recent event show but also the media conference that happened last year.

    if you're like me then you've probably added about 10 bethesda games to your queue hyped to play them today. I waited all day for The Evil Within to install and once it finally did, the games in french. after digging into it bethesda pulls this off a lot and removes english from foreign versions of their games, forcing you to settle with shitty dubs. the best way to avoid this is temporarily set your location to UK or USA, then download your games.

    TLDR: if you're english speaking living abroad change your system location before downloading any new GP games

    Hows it going !?

    I recently installed Call of Duty Warzone onto my Xbox One Original, (NOT SERIES X or S etc.) , and was looking through TV Display Settings, when I noticed that I can select 120hz 1440p instead of 60hz for 4K in an attempt to increase frame rate for Warzone!

    Although i noticed the game looking a bit less detailed, it did feel pretty good, but i'm wondering if it may have been just placebo OR if it really was working as intended!? (I did have my OLED tv set up in game mode, with HDR disabled.)

    Visibility wasn't hindered THAT much, so I'm inclined to stay with the higher refresh rate!

    Little menu for spotify gone?

    My xbox one s likes to start by itself at random times. Everything works just fine, but it just starts randomly, light and all. What's happening? I keep it on sleep all the time, so I assume it's just starting for updates.
