    Any way to increase my chances of actually scoring an Xbox Series X on Walmart.com when they go on sale tomorrow?

    As I'm sure many of you guys are aware, Xbox Series X consoles will go on sale on the Walmart.com website tomorrow at 9:00pm EST. Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of scoring one before they inevitably sell out? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, I just didn't know where else to post it.

    Like the title says my dad was complaining about notifications that keep popping up about people inviting him to games, i brushed it off thinking it was a couple of friends. My dad kept complaining so i checked what happened and found an account called steve. I was confused cuz i never had a account called steve as far as i can remember... i checked the profile and found almost 200k followers and was seriously confused. I checked the games and found all my childhood games. Lego games, Halo 3, even obsucre games my sister used to play like hannah montana lmao. Anyways I remembred that before my current account i used to love the name steve, cuz, idk. this was before minecraft so idk why i liked the name. I made the account 2010 i think when i got my xbox 360, i was like 6-7 so i didnt know what i was doing. Anyways i put the account as usa or canada, and when i finally wanted to buy minecraft they werent selling disk versions, so i had to buy xbox points or whtver the hell they had back then. I found out it didnt work cuz the points were UAE region locked so i had to make a new account to play minecraft and gave up on that account. I think moving to the region the account was registred in worked somehow because ever since we moved to canada the notifications started.

    Edit: not taking offers for the account but I'm curious to how much someone would pay for smthn like this

    Series X or One Controller?

    Trying to decide which controller to go with? The Series X controller is $5 cheaper, but I heard that it's louder than the One controller, which can be a bother. Any insights?

    I have a new Samsung Q80T 65" with the Xbox Series X. Everything seems fine so far, but I tried out Sea of Thieves the other day and it has a lot of dark areas. It seems like the screen is just totally grey and isn't displaying any blacks at all. If I turn off HDR the blacks come back and looks great.

    Is this normal? I thought HDR would enhance, but my experience is in dark scenes it looks noticeably much worse.

    All my systems after the Dreamcast have been Xboxes. Have the One now and plan to get the Series S at some point. All my family and friends are switching to PS. I don't plan on it, but it's kind of a bummer to be the only one I know with an Xbox? I maintain that the Xbox controller is better for me and the general aesthetic and interface of it works for me. Only PS I enjoyed was PS2. What are everyone else's reasons for sticking with Xbox?

    Why do online games such as Cold war lag? Xbox said 2 maps minimum yet I still get lag spikes and "connection interrupted". Any fix?

    Why do people constantly complain about paying for online/Games with Gold and claim online multiplayer is a necessity not a luxury?

    Nobody seems to remember how absolutely horrendous servers on console were for PlayStation 3 because online was free, you couldn't play anything without insufferable bots, hacking, server issues and troll. Communities like Call of Duty literally boycotted PS3 because certain games got so bad [MW2 specifically], bots, hacking, server issues and troll has slim down extensively since online subscriptions became a thing.

    Additionally Xbox Live doesn't cost that much yearly and whether players accept it or not, Xbox Gold is a luxury not a requirement.

    On the topic of Games with Gold, its like player expect XBOX to release major titles like Red Dead Redemption II for free. Personally I've never had an issue with titles on GWG, some of them I would have never heard of or had the chance to play like Stackers. Games with Gold is a bonus, stop acting like XBOX is required to release Assassin's Creed Valhalla or Cyberpunk 2077 for GWG just because you paid $10 or $30.

    Is there a way to find out wether game has quick resume or not before switching away to another title?

    My Series S is finally here and I decided to play some gamepass titles on it. And while I was able to quickly jump back into Outer Wilds, I haven't been able to do so with Aragami. Is there a way to know for sure wether or not I'll be able to jump back into the game or is it just trial and error?

    how to recover an old xbox account

    my brother and i are trying to play through all the halo games again as it's been years since we have. i still remember all my details but he doesn't. he no longer has any of the recovery things but does remember the phone number that is starred out. is there any way to get his old account back/ prove that it's his. it's full of history and memories. thanks, oreosamh
