I just finished playing through Salt and Sanctuary and It was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend playing through It, the level design and playstyle Is amazing. If you like the Dark Souls/Bloodborne games then you will absolutely love this one, I absolutely loved It and I hope you will too.

Ive had my xbox one x for 2 years now and stumbled on some videos online of people doing repairs and so on. found a video from gamers nexus about it and another that ill link. they purchased brand new xbox one x's when they cane out and the paste was dry. replaced it with their own and saw a drop in 20 degrees C on day 1 WOW so i decided to do the same, finally got the thing apart and the mother board looked burnt, and there was barely and paste left some was just stuck on the board, this thing would have killed it self by over heating playing taxing titles. it takes about an hour to do, the console is pretty easy to take apart and put together just a lot of screws, if you follow along with a video it helps a ton. and id make a map of where each screw goes back as some are longer than others. if you dont plan on getting the new xbox series x when it comes out and want your system to last I recommend it

Tip - For new Elite v2 controller owners

First I'd like to say it was really nice to be prompted upon startup to be able to have the option to transfer/copy my Elite v1 profile right to my new Elite V2. That in itself was a life saver.

Second and what the post is meant for is the responsiveness of the joysticks. When i started playing i immediately messed with the tension adjustment, but while playing something just didn't seem right response wise.

So i went back into the accessories app and went over to the joystick settings. To my surprise, and others might already know this? I know i didn't..... the setting on both sticks were set to a preset called " Delay".

It has several presets listed in the drop down, and i ended up picking " instant" and applied to both sticks.

Huge difference! Made things feel just as they did on all my other remotes. For some odd reason that setting "delay" was my default, and for the life of me even after starting back up my Elite v1 it was more responsive than my elite2.

So if your in the same boat as i was, just purchasing the controller and it almost feeling like you have input lag when you shouldn't, check out the joystick settings, and choose " instant".

I paid for $1 plus tax for Xbox game pass for 3 months, I turned off recurring payment in settings and instead of my subscription ending in March my subscription ends 5/26/2021

Is this some kind of glitch?

Ive had this controller since I got my xbox one which was about 3 or 4 years now. Im not really hard on it, I've never slammed it out of rage or thrown it out of anger but here lately after charging my batteries for a full night I've noticed that when I put the batteries in to play there is like a 50/50 chance of the controller turning on. The xbox button will flash white and black so long as I hold it but wont turn on when I release it. It usually takes me putting the batteries back on charge for about 10 to 15 minutes and then putting them back in the controller for the controller to turn back on. Ive also noticed I kind of drift a little bit when playing games. Like I move my analog stick to go right and he'll (my character) will keep going right a little bit longer than I had my stick on for and I cant push any other buttons. Almost like my controller died for a second and turned itself back on.

Do I need new batteries or a new controller? I've never had to get a new controller for my past xboxes, so I dont know if I have to get a new controller every now and then for the xbox one or not.

Ever since they removed Cortana & added the new speech-to-text system it hasn't worked for me.... It worked once, the first time I used it. Ever since then I haven't gotten it to work. It doesn't register anything. Anyone else have this problem?

Basically title, mom bought Xbox live gold for 12 months and I have Xbox game pass ultimate will putting in the gold code cancel the ultimate or will it just tack on 12 months of gold after ultimate expires since ultimate comes with gold or will it have both running at the same time?

Continuous disconnection from games

For about a week and a half, I have been playing games as normal, and every 30 minutes to an hour my game will freeze and send me back to the lobby. Sometimes I look and my (wireless) wifi connection has been lost, but others I just go back to the lobby without having to reconnect. It's getting very aggravating not being able to play for long periods of time. I've looked at many solutions and I haven't seen any fix that has worked yet. If there is anyone who could suggest something, that would be amazing.

There is a lot of Creepery that goes on online, there are the standard red flag offenses that everyone is aware of, but there are also the scammer situation.

In these scenarios women or men and bots pretending to be women. They will send messages asking for age and credit card information for special websites.

So if you hear your kid talk about how they have a gf online it is most likely a scammer or a creep. You can always sync your child's messages with your phone via the game pass app.

Because in an online world where grown men in the 40s cuss out 12 year olds, it is important to not forget the real creepy threats that exist out there. I am not sure if there is anything Xbox or Microsoft can do about it, so as a community it might be in our best interests to do our due diligence to protect kids.
