    Xbox One X shuts down during Battlefront 2 due to "ventilation issues"

    So I've played Bf2 for 2 years on the same Xbox in the same spot. Recently, after the TROS update, my Xbox turns off mid-game due to "ventilation issues" (it's happened 5 times only while playing Battlefront 2). I've never had this happen with any other game. Anyone else? I'm afraid that one of these days my Xbox is literally going to die because of this.

    Is this happening to anyone else? I was going to pick up the stick of truth + fractured but whole bundle because it said it was on sale. But when you go to buy it it is still full price. Happened with Skyrim last month too.

    Friday the 13th: Why do I always have the full map but my friend doesn't?

    Been playing the game with a friend of mine. We're really enjoying it but have one question.

    We both play on XBO and somehow I seem to have the full map every game. He needs to "find" the map in the game.

    Do I have some sort of add-on? Is this a bug? How can my friend get the full map like I have?

    Xbox mic not working

    For some reason, when I try to talk in a party, it doesn't work. In game chat works just fine, and my headset has no problems. But when I try talking in a party, it won't work. Any fix?

    Game Pass Games Crashing

    I downloaded Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet and Frost Punk. SAO crashes pretty often, and I just tried to play FP. It crashed immediately after setting up a game.

    Is this a problem with these games across the board, or is it an Xbox problem?

    [Tech]Offline update works but online doesn't.

    I am currently stuck in the initial setup process. Whenever I try to do the compulsory update,the console completely turns off instead of restarting as stated.

    I did an offline update which worked perfectly but it only brought the update from 4gb down to 400mb. Anyone knows why my console keeps turning off when trying to do an online update? Thanks.

    Setting up my Xbox One - Do I have a Microsoft account if I am signed into my Xbox 360?

    I'm at the setup point where it's asking me for a Microsoft account. Doesn't sound familiar, but my 360 is currently signed into my profile, which only shows a username which it automatically generated for me years ago, because I couldn't think of a name then. I don't remember that being profile associated with an email or anything like that.

    So I guess the question is - did being signed into your profile on the 360 ever require an email account to be entered? If it did, should it work if I enter it on my One? For the record, I never actually subscribed to Xbox Live, it just made me create a profile when I first got a 360.

    I don't even know if it's possible to try to sign into the same "profile" on the One, as I had on my 360.

    pls help me sync

    hey i've seen a lotta posts in here about syncing before and figured someone could help with my special case here. first off, the other day my right bumper on the controller i've been using for a few years just stopped working, and rubbing alcohol doesn't work so i think it's just broke. i figured it was just time to get a new controller so i went out and got one, but it just won't sync to my xbox. my console took a fall a few years back and i guess that piece behind the vent on the left side broke? the one that slides that's has the sync button on it, because the little silver piece that you usually press doesn't hit anything or click at all. i figured repair might be in order but before that i wanted to get this new controller goin. i can't use that button so everything i've read is leading me to using a usb cable. i've plugged into both back ports and the side, and the new controller doesn't do anything but flash when i press the xbox symbol or the sync button. i've done the hard reset, updates my xbox, done the soft reset, tried different cables, pretty much all the ins and outs that i've found the last few days and jack shit to show for it. not really tryna spend a whole lot of money on repairing it unless that part is my only solution. has anyone else had this problem before, and what did you do to fix it. too many years and hours spend on this console to just replace it to so that's not an option. any help is appreciated, thanks xbox community
