    I can't get connected at all and it's not my internet because the Xbox does detect that I'm connected and I'm able to connect perfectly fine on all my other devices.

    Note: I was also able to open Netflix and watch at usual quality as well while on Xbox, it's just Live.

    New Gamertag system kinda sucks

    Changed my gamertag to what I want but now there's those trailing numbers after it.

    What's the real point of making your gamertag what you want if they're just going to append a random sequence of numbers after it?

    Edit: Ok now I'm really confused. I just went on the website and tried to change my name again to something that I know isn't taken. Lo and behold, no suffix appeared. However you can apparently customize your in-game gamertag to something completely different if you choose? So like you have two gamertags?? This don't make no gahtdamn sense.

    TL;DR: Do I purchase an Xbox One X or wait till next gen?

    I'm a long time Xbox gamer. About a year ago I sold my Xbox due to my friends leaving the system for the PS4. I sold my Day One Xbox thinking I'd get a better price before the next gen ads premier. I have every intention of purchasing the next gen console.

    I still have a year of Xbox Games with Gold that I had upgraded to Game Pass Ultimate. I'm playing the game pass games on PC and I'm loving it. I've even gotten a few friends to come back to Xbox and now I'm jealous of the games available on console that aren't available on PC. With XCloud coming and the growing Game Pass library on console, should I purchase an Xbox One X now?

    If I purchased an Xbox One X now I would most likely wait till 2021 before moving to next gen unless there's some must have technology. What are your thoughts? With Xcloud's potential I'm assuming I'll want to start buying digital on the Xbox ecosystem instead PlayStation's. Is $350 worth the price when in 12 months I can purchase next gen for $400-500?

    Change profile pic

    Trying to change my profile picture to a pic that I have downloaded and saved on my xbox. Every time I go to "upload" the image after centering it in the circle it gets to 16% then says "something went wrong while uploading the image. Try again later." What the fuck is the problem here? Kind of a petty issue but super annoying. I've had xbox live for over 10 years and can honestly say that it's probably the most glitchy, sensitive service I've ever used. There's ALWAYS something. Thanks for any suggestions.

    Old Xbox One Issues (excuseunessaryspaces)

    I have a day one xbox one meaning the normal it seems has it gets older it gets more and more issues and they affect how I can use it very badly... The issues I'm having with it is messages never send properly for me it randomly disconnects from wifi when its still fine and connected for everyone else that's using my wifi...The FrameRate gets unnecessarily low when Initially loading up a game that's over 60 gigabytes and it messes With my accounts on it and prevents xbox app users from joining my party and immediately disconnects them and alot of the times games refuse start after attempting to load them up and randomly freezes my party I'm in for just for me/(disconnectsmeforthem)... sometimes it refuses to let me resign in even though I never reset my password and it just gets stuck loading and I have to restart my console to fix the sign in issue and so far none of these issues get fixed by restarting my console if anyone knows what could be the problem for these increasing larger issues I'm having? (And none of these are service problems because if they were it would of fixed them awhile ago)

    Best way to improve WiFi speeds for Xbox?

    I've done my research but I thought it would be best to open it up to community. I currently live in a rural area and have always had poor WiFi, I've looked up things to help strengthen but I was wondering what community thinks. I'm willing to buy anything to make my WiFi more reasonable, I can't buy a new WiFi router due to our WiFi company plan. But any other tips to help control speed? WiFi extender? WiFi plug in? Let me know :) thanks

    I was trying to change my gamertag because when I made a Microsoft account for ps4 Minecraft it put me a random name. When I tried to cange it with the Xbox app it took it as available but didn't change and used my one and only free chance to change it. I feel like I was robbed. I'd appreciate any help.

    If you can't watch it, here's how it works: -

    There's up to 72 players in the game. Everyone starts out driving a Mini. Car drops will fall into the map and if you get to one first, you have the option of swapping your car for the one from the drop. Cars are ranked 1-8, with 8 being the best.

    When you encounter another player on the map, you can challenge them, which starts a race to a point on the map. The other player has no choice but to do it. If you win the race, you can either swap to your opponent's car, or choose to upgrade your own, and the losing player is eliminated. Obviously if you lose, you're eliminated.

    Like other Battle Royale games, the play area shrinks as time goes on and if you get caught outside it, a timeout meter starts to fill up, which will eliminate you if it hits 100%. The meter does not reset when you get back into the zone either, so it represents cumulative time spent outside the zone.

    When it gets down to the last 10 people, there's a final race and whoever wins that is the overall winner.

    my new gamertag is not showing up

    hi, minecraft bedrock has recently been introduced to ps4 and it required a microsoft account- i've set up everything and linked my microsoft account to minecraft. however for whatever reason i got some random 'tunefulclock831' gamertag which i planned to change. i posted in r/PSminecraft about my issue since i am not able to find a way to change my gamertag and someone suggested i try to do so through the xbox app(apparently it worked for them). soo again i set up everything now through the xbox app and i changed my gamertag, but i now have another issue which is that the new gamertag is not showing up it's still the old tunefulclock831. when i go to setting to request a change it says i've already used up my gamertag change and i need to pay for for a new one... can anyone help me maybe try searching up my new gamertag and see if my profile comes up or if you have any solutions pls feel free to lmk (the new gamertag i chose is: arestirase )

    Hey everyone so I'm contemplating the Xbox one X. I currently have the Xbox one S but have always thought about upgrading. I'm wondering will I notice a difference in gameplay or graphics? I play on an Alienware 25" monitor that has a 240hz refresh rate even though I know Xbox puts out 30 FPS right now. It's not 4K either.

    Xbox Scarlett come with Xbox keyboard and mouse too?

    They really should consider making it a standard to have controller, keyboard and mouse to come with Xbox. I been a PC gamer like all my life but population of my favorite games always seem to die out faster on PC than console.

    It would help push cross platform but also help PC gamer to maybe move onto console if it standardize as it much easier to get a console than trying to get the right computer specs and graphic settings .

    I mean I think it be a good idea to do so even if it a standard keyboard and mouse. Then do like Xbox elite keyboard and mouse if people want something better or proper driver support for all the different keyboard and mouse.

    Figure I put it out there as twitch has made gaming huge and majority of it is pc gamer and kids will want to follow along somehow and console properly supporting it with developer having that in mind when they make games for the new Xbox would be pretty cool

    basically, if i get an xbox one at my dads house, (i already have one at my moms) and i have the physical version of madden 18 for example, can i bring the disc between both xbox's and keep the same save data?
