Xbox Game Pass PC help needed!

Hey! I've used the game pass on pc for a couple of days playing Metro Exodus. Now all of a sudden when I start the game, it crashes before the main menu. When I close the game using task manager, there is an option to choose where the game save should come from. Either the PC or cloud. This is what's causing the crash I think, but I cant get to it without closing the game, and the message appear again the next time i start the game. I've also tried starting the game without the cloud app running, but it still crashes. Is there any way to make the game pass automaticly choose to load a save from the computer, every time? Picture below shows the message, asking where the saved data should be loaded from. Bottom option says 'Choose next time'.

Im a playstation user, i never had an Xbox but for this Christmas my nephew wants one. Im not sure which one to get, since i never had one. So my question is which one should i buy?

Btw my nephew has no acces to internet, and hes 8 years old but he could come to my house to download whatever needs to download. So with that in mind which one out of all the Xbox iterations is best for him?

I'm guessing they do, because they do connect like controllers to the Xbox One. And the series X will be able to use Xbox One controllers. So it should work right?

I've dealt with this issue so many times so I figure I'd ask and see if anyone else has had the same issue and has found a work around or solution. My wifi is fine, rest of home is connect and good. Xbox live services are all green, but when I go to connect to xbl it just wont do it. Says some things dont work but there is 0 reason for that msg to show. Any one have the same issue and find a way around or what ever? Shits annoying as fuck.

Downloaded plex on pc and xbox. I can see my files on the plex app and am connected to the xbox and can use it to stream. Can't open files in the media player app though. I can't even see the server I set up on it

Help! Xbox one wireless display input

Hello! Need your help guys. Just got an Xbox one and wanted to cast my PC through it (using Xbox wireless display). It works great!... Until I select the controllers as input. Then it (the wireless display app on the console) freezes and the PC disconnects. The xbox didn't realize that and just stays frozen.

I'm running Windows 10, and they are both on the same wi-fi.

Anybody bumped into something similar? Knows what to do? Thanks

I've been searching over the faq and maybe I'm blind but I can't seem to figure out the best way to transfer stuff over, if you've transferred consoles in the past any pro tips would be appreciated. some people say that all the save data is on the cloud, just wondering how true that is.

Eb games (GameStop) is having a promotion, trade in your old console and get half off a new one, I'd like to take this opportunity, but my current console has all my save data and games on it. Thanks in advance!

Original Xbox One Freezing

Anyone having issues with an original Xbox One freezing during certain games? It happens mostly with Game Pass games but occasionally with digital downloaded/owned games.

Requires multiple full start/reboots if it'll work at all. Sometimes they'll work first try and will work for hours, other times they'll crash on load screens and everywhere in between.

Xbox is hardwired (Ethernet), not operating over WiFi.

Games affected (small list): Gears 5, Division 1 and 2, Borderlands 3, Goat Simulator (I have kids), Fortnite, MK XI, Forza Horizon, etc.

I've also done a full console format and redownloaded everything, as well as have moved games to an SSD.

I'm out of options, anyone have solutions?
