    So, I used to be a die hard PS fan. But recently, I've had a change of heart. Why ?

    1)m going to have to say that I feel like Microsoft makes objectively the better product. Playstation just has more history and stronger PR

    2)I find that Xbox exclusives seem to resonate with me more than PS exclusives.

    3)The online experience is so much better on the Xbox than the PSN

    4) My most pettiest reason. I am completely sour and resentful towards Sony and their stance towards video game modding. That was the nail in the coffin.

    Who else was a convert ?

    So I have the Xbox companion app on my pc to play with console friends, and I've been using it for about a year now. As of yesterday though I can't hear anyone in parties even though my mic is connected. Does anyone have any fixes for this? I've also determined that it's not my mic as I can use Discord and hear game audio fine.

    Buying Games Hidden Fees?

    When I bought a game digitally online, the cost was $59.99 without tax, and in the receipt it said the tax was only about $3, but for some reason the total cost was around $67. Are there hidden fees for buying Xbox games online? (Xbox One)

    i recently built a gaming pc, but i own both an xbox 1 and a ps4 pro. I see that i can get the xbox game pass on pc, is there any reason to own an xbox at this point that im not thinking about

    Do you think Project Scarlett would support Bluetooth and USB Headphones?

    I including many of the people would love to use their USB Gaming Headset or the great ANC Bluetooth Headphones (Microsoft even makes one now). Maybe even support for more RGB peripherals, for those who use Keyboard and Mouse.

    Antonline troubles?

    So I just got my xbox in the mail after purchasing from antonline through walmart, even though I probably shouldn't have after reading all the reviews. The first thing I noticed when I got it out of the box though was that it had been previously opened. So here I am getting kinda upset because I was thinking that I was buying something new but clearly someone already opened it and they tried to cover it up by putting new tape on. But the weird thing is that when I contacted support because the warranty was already in use, they were telling me that apparently the xbox hasn't been used? Has this happened to anyone else??

    Hello r/xbox, I'm a longtime xbox owner in need of a new controller and I have some questions.

    So for a while I was using the controller that came with my xbox but a few years ago decided to get another, better looking, one to use as my main controller. I immediately noticed that the bumpers were different. They were easier to push down towards the center of the controller (I guess you could say the amount of pressure you needed to apply was more uniform across the bumper). I like this a lot because I was playing a game with heavy bumper usage, but one of the bumpers ended up breaking off in a few months. I replaced the bumper but every time since that first break, one of the two would need to be replaced within 3 months, and a lot of the time more often than that. I ended up keeping a stash of a few extra bumpers so I didn't have to wait.

    Anyway, I bought another controller a year or two later and basically had the same issue. Both of these were not the standard xbox controller, they were special designs and such, so my main question is whether the standard black xbox controller has those new bumpers or still use the original, more sturdy version. My original controller is still going strong with no pieces broken (though the sticks could use new nubs) All I want in my new controller is to not have to deal with those shitty bumpers. Otherwise it's not worth getting a new controller.

    I also have an elite and I can't really tell which style bumper they have. It might be a completely different version. If they are one or the other, they are the new version. I don't use it for the bumper-heavy game so it's hard to tell.

    Another question I have is about the elite 2. Is there any change in bumper on that one? One of the reasons I don't use it for the bumper-heavy game is because they feel less sturdy than the original bumpers and don't want to break them.

    Headset for Christmas present

    I am wanting to buy my boyfriend a headset for his xbox for Christmas. He has a mono headset for chat that is falling apart. I don't want to spend more than $100. It would be nice if it isn't noise cancelling because we hang out together and talk some when he plays. Do you guys have any recommendations?

    What do you recommend? Which game are still popular? Is there any website that I can see how many people is online per game?

    So i bought gears 4 and 5 a while ago i just git a month of game pass to play gears ultimate but when i go to the gears 4 and 5 pages it says you can play gears with game pass or buy to own instead of saying you own this game help????

    Turtle Beach causing controller to die/turn off

    Anyone else experience their controller continuing to turn off when connected to a wired headset, specifically the XO One from Turtle Beach? I have tried different controllers and rechargeable/regular batteries and it seems to be an issue with the headset. I have submitted a request for customer support with TB, but thought I would come here as well.

    My Right stick on my elite controller is bugged.

    So I've played 2 games, Apex and Pubg. I mostly play BR games unfortunately. Since pubg's peak mechanic allows you to use the left stick and the right stick to peak around walls. However my right stick switches my weapons if I hold it for like a second too short. I'm forced to hold my right stick down like 3 seconds longer when peaking or my character will automatically switch the weapon I'm using. I must be an idiot Haha I've never experienced this before and I would like some help figuring it out.

    So I'm thinking about upgrading to the One X, but as I'm looking around on Amazon there's a lot of reviews about people getting error codes almost immediately upon startup. The thing is though is that most of these reviews are from last year, so I'm wondering if this was an issue in the past that's now fixed or if this is an ongoing thing. Any advice at all would be appreciated.

    Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Canceling

    Hey I just got 3 months of xbox game pass but I didnt see the Ultimate thing. I turned off auto renewal but I want my old gold back. If I cancel the xbox ultimate will I get my old gold back?
