Also, games should stop trying to emulate halo reach textures like worn armor, or at least halo reach is the most iconic game I can think of with armor like this. Also, what's with blurry rocks? Do people not give a shit about rocks? I value game mechanics over graphics any day, but they're really starting to SUCK. If xbox series x is going to have detailed rocks at the least, I'll be proud. | Best way to clean up friends list on PC? Posted: 21 Dec 2019 09:47 AM PST Xbox.com is surprisingly terrible for viewing and changing the friends list. It doesn't load the proper page about 75% of the time, doesn't seem to register 'unfriending' people half the time, seems to cause a rate limit on the account loading a friends list and ceases to work altogether, etc. Trying the Xbox Companion App and it's failing to load the friends list (likely due to the rate limit thing above). I chose Astrolys (ASTROLYS), which is my name everywhere (and I'm quite and happy and proud it's never taken). With the Gamer tag, a number appears: Astrolys #6126, a bit like Discord I thought. I reckoned my name would appear as « Astrolys » in game, but I had a different number in case someone wants to also use the name. Posted: 21 Dec 2019 03:05 AM PST I'm going to preface this by stating that this will not be an angry rant, I just feel that I should post this in case other people are having similar problems and wish to come forward. On December 3rd, I purchased the $1 gamepass ultimate deal, mainly for the spotify premium/discord nitro/etc because what can I say, I'm broke. A few days later, I still hadn't received the codes, so I contacted xbox support. They told me it could take up to/roughly a week for codes to ship out. No big deal, this is perfectly understandable. I haven't kept specific dates, but I believe it was about the 12th when I contacted support again. I have no problem waiting, I was just concerned and wanted an update. Again, they essentially said to wait, which was fine by me as long as I knew what was up. A few days ago, I contacted support for hopefully the last time. This time, they actually took action, I think. The guy (who was lovely, by the way) told me that I was supposed to receive my codes on the 16th, and then asked me to check various inboxes and provide proof that I hadn't received an xbox message. All well and good there. He asked for an email, then said it would be elevated and I'd be emailed within 24 hours to further this case. Suffice to say, it has been well over 24 hours, let alone within. Is anybody else dealing with this sort of thing? I've always known xbox support to be quite competent, but maybe my view is skewed. Not sure what exactly to tag this as. If a mod feels this doesn't belong, by all means, I understand. Cheers friends. [link] [comments] |
