    Hey r/xboxone

    As I'm sure a few of you sharp eyes have already noticed, we have updated the rules to the sub. We had some old ones that were no longer relevant and the ones that were relevant needed a touch of paint to keep up with the times. Here are the big changes that were made.

    SHOWOFF SUNDAY

    We are getting rid of the showoff sunday thread because honestly no one was using it and were just trying to post it normally and hopefully avoid being taken down. Well we have taken a page from other subreddits and made it to where showoff sunday is now no longer a thread and you can just post normally. So pictures of your setup, new gamerscore, achievements, custom controllers, your limited edition Halo 2 Xbox etc. will all be allowed as normal posts on Sunday. Any other day of the week though they will still be removed.

    LESS CLUTTER

    We took out some old rules that weren't relevant anymore and combined a couple together so that you don't have to see a long list of rules when you first join the sub. Our spoilers, nsfw and reddiquette rules for example are now combined as one rule.

    Well thats about it, most of the rules are the same as you can see. Still not allowing memes or stuff of that nature. As always, if you guys got any feedback to share on these new rules feel free to share them here or shoot us a message in modmail.

    Do NOT buy this game. It's unplayable because of freezes and lags. Also the hit reg is absolutely broken. Most of your shots don't register correctly. Spend your money on something more polished. If you're into these CS-like games, try Rogue Company (14,99).

    If you like horror movies and have Gamepass then give this a shot! It reminds me a lot of Until Dawn on the PS4. I had never heard of this game before and never would have tried it if it hadn't been on Gamepass

    I know it's super cheap and I've seen what's included, but I heard battlefront games are plagued with micro transactions (EA, of course). Regardless. Either way, what's it's like gameplay wise? Heard the second game is better. Opinions?

    This is my left thumb stick after 5 months of DOOM Eternal. I bought it in a button set to replace another stick that was also very worn out. Anyone have any suggestions for sticks that won't wear out so fast?

    Xbox x replacement and os installing

    Hello guys I guess my xbox x hard drive is damaged or something resetting didnt solve my problems with it As my problems started when sudden freeze in games then xbx stopped responding and it worked again then asking me to restart once it switch own rather it says restart xbox again or it totally signed out of my account or it wont work at all alot of error code appears to me I dont have a service place in here to give it to them I searched online a lot and i found solutions like re-installing the os, resetting or else But i didnt try any method cause i feel it just a waste of time maybe im wrong but i need to replace the internal hard So all i need is to know which hard disk types i should buy , how to replace it and how to install and copy the games from the original to new hdd Sorry for talking long .

    My controllers won’t connect and won’t stop blinking

    Using an Xbox One X and a Dolby Atmos capable soundbar, I still can’t get Atmos. Getting the 0x80bd0009 error!

    For reference, I'm running an Xbox One X HDMI output into a 55" LG Nanocell TV (it does support and have Atmos although I'm not sure if that matters). From there, I'm running a Samsung Q70T soundbar (Atmos capable) from eARC into HDMI eARC on the TV. I have the Atmos app downloaded on the Xbox, and in audio settings, I have HDMI audio selected to bitstream out, optical audio turned off (as my understanding is optical can't handle Atmos anyway), and under Bitstream format, anytime I select Dolby Atmos for home theater (HDMI only), it keeps kicking me to this error, and automatically reverts to Dolby Digital. I spent nearly two hours on the phone with Microsoft Support and they couldn't figure it out. Is this a hardware or software issue, or a dumb user issue? I specifically bought a One X to take advantage of Atmos for movies and games, and it'll be a shame if I can't get this to work. I'm hoping one of you has run into this issue before and got it resolved.

    Edit: is It possible it's an HDMI cable issue? What specific cable should I be using?

    Edit 2: Thanks to u/IPoZo, I got it to work! Guess my TV only has one eARC HDMI input which sucks but plugging Xbox into the eARC one seems to let me select Atmos on Xbox. But can't get Atmos through the TV apps now lol. Thanks again brother!
