    Millions of people are going to be downloading this same update so it's going to be slow. No, it doesn't matter what your download speeds from your ISP are, it's going to be slow no matter what. Play something else for a while.

    Just getting this out there early before we see a dozen posts an hour like we do every update.

    Known problems:

    • Friends' List showing Offline status for a few or some

    • Parties have issues where some experience loss of sound, but others can hear them.

    Xbox server issues?

    Recently (meaning in the last hour or two) all game servers and Xbox party servers have just almost shut down. Parties are extremely buggy and makes everyone in the party muted and u have to unmute like 4 people then it unmutes the rest people can't hear each other, it kicks us out every so often and I can't successfully play any game as I am kicked shortly after joining any lobby. This isn't just me it's happened to all 6 of me mates in the party and I'm just wondering what the fuck is going on and why are your servers acting so shit

    When I'm in a party it pics up my mic audio but no one else can hear me and I cant hear them and I checked if they where muted but there not I tried restarting my Xbox tried turning off my controller and turn it back on but that didnt do a thing

    In terms of Gold membership for Xbox Live; some people would pay monthly($10/month), some would buy 3 or 6 months cards, and some people would buy a yearly membership for a discounted price($60 instead of the $10/month that meant $120/year, meaning half price).

    The current price would be $180/year for Game Pass Ultimate. Obviously many people took advantage of the $1 deal and are set for a while, myself included. However, when I think of it long term without promotional deals, it's pretty expensive. After $1 GPU deals become less frequent, they should allow you to buy a yearly GPU card similar to a year of Gold, it could be an even $100 price tag. This allows some people to go ahead and set up their accounts for the long run while also saving money.

    Just something I thought of, maybe this already exists and I just haven't payed attention.

    I bought my fist Xbox yesterday

    One X, if anynone would like to know. I've been a long PlayStation user, but Series X looks mighty impressive. My PS broke this february and I thought - don't really want to wait another 7-8 months, why not switch now? Games are cheap, library is full and so on.

    I must say game pass is lovely. Before I had to buy a game to test it fully. I spent hundreds on games I didn't like. It was so stupid, I see it now. Today I've played a little bit of Ori and Wolfenstein. Tomorrow I'm gonna try Nier and maybe Dishonored. Soon I'm gonna buy Witcher 3, because I love this game like no other. I'll gladly pay twice for it.

    That's all I wanted to say, really. An opinion from newcomer, I know it's not worth much. But still - I felt I needed to share.

    Decided to do some achievement hunting and noticed none of what I am completing is unlocking any achievements. I'm assuming it has something to do with the current Xbox outage but just wondering if others are experiencing it too since I haven't seen a mention of it here yet.
