    Console says I need xbox live gold or game pass ultimate to play

    I just downloaded a game from games with gold, however when I try to start the game i get a message saying that I need to renew my xbox live gold or game pass ultimate subscription despite already having an active ultimate subscription. Can anyone offer any help, im asking here as the error code just tells me how to renew a subscription, which isnt very helpful when you already have one active

    Installation stopped. Help

    Lately I've been attempting to play games. Digital and disc. And they weren't launching. So i uninstalled them. Then i tried to reinstall them. It kept stopping i got rid of my saves, local storage and many more restarts. I have no idea how to solve it

    Will an original Xbox console be able to use the newer power cables sans original power brick ? Asking since i need a new power supply and looking for a replacement but I hear the original power brick that shipped with the original console is discontinued ?

    Xbox screen flickering when Logitech g920 plugged in.

    When I plug in my logitech g920 everything works fine but as soon as I launch a game, the screen starts to flicker constantly and it's impossible to play anything or navigate menus. The only way to fix the issue is to unplug the wheel. Anyone know how to fix this?

    Broken Xbox One.

    So I brought this Xbox back in 2014 and up until now I've had no other problems with it. I've always tried to keep it clean and in shape, two months ago I took it apart to give it a deep clean which it needed as it was running pretty loud. The clean seemed to work as it no longer ran loud and no other problems came up.

    Well today I went to turn it on and it immediately turned off, the start up chime plays but the touch button doesn't light up like it should. The power brick light is orange but when I press the power button it faintly goes white then goes back to orange so I'm fairly certain it's my power brick that's finally kicked the bucket after all these years.

    However after looking online I've seen some people saying it could potentially be the HDMI cable or HDMI port or the internal Hard Drive itself. I've tried a different HDMI cable just to get the same result.

    Im just curious if there's a way I could test to see if it is the HardDrive that's died or if it is the power brick that's died like I originally thought so I know for certain what replacement part to order.

    1. Sell Series X, Sell Laptop, Sell Switch, Cancel Steam Deck, get killer laptop? Can I stay in Xbox community?

    Hi all,

    I sold my Nintendo Switch about a few weeks ago and now i'm thinking about selling a few other things to maybe replace them all with a killer laptop. Is this something I can do, and still stay in the Xbox community with the new laptop? I should note that i have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at the moment. I know Microsoft is doing an amazing job of integrating Xbox & laptop so now i'm wondering what route I should take.

    Here's what's up:

    I have a RTX2060 laptop with I7 8750h cpu, 2tb SSD. 17 inch. It's enough to be above average but not enough to replace the Series X. Yes, I also have a Xbox Series X, and a pre-order for the top of the line Steam Deck.

    I could keep them all and be happy, or I could sell all of them and use it to fund my next possible purchase -

    Eluktronics Prometheus XVII for just over $3,000. Includes Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU with RXT3080 Max-P (so not max-q). Would also have 32g ram and 2tb storage.

    The reasoning behind wanting this laptop is so that I can have a proper all out all-in-one work & gaming machine, and possibly get into VR gaming down the line. But I also want to remain in the Xbox community and still play games like World of Warships Legends, GTA Online, Sea of Thieves, etc. with my friends.

    So TL:DR what do you all think would be a good route here? Sell my stuff for a killer laptop and keep game pass ultimate, or keep them all and scratch the killer laptop idea?

    Hello , a friend of mine lended his xbox 360 to me , i managed to buy Jet set radio future despite it's a bit hard to find for cheap , i've tried to get it to launch and keep getting a problem saying can't be played (same region , did updates , tried clearing the cache ) , got no other original xbox game to test

    Is there a way to make it work? i've asked my friend he says the hard drive has never been changed either.

    If i change my gamertag can i change it back?

    I want to change my gamertag for a bit to see if i like the different one better but when i go to change it it says that you won't be able to change it back (even though it also says changing it will make your old gamertag available again). Is that true? can i not go back to an old gamertag once i'v changed it? all my old gamertags are over the 12 character limit so i can't test it out myself and see.
